Great guy but super tough class. Be prepared for a lot of studying and make sure you understand the material, b/c you CANNOT just wing it on quizzes/tests.

He's my favorite teacher! His "easy" ways take some time to get used to, but then they save you so much time! He's not that hard... but yes, you do have to study a lot. Go Mr. J!

Really tough class, but my absolute favorite teacher. I go to his classroom almost every day so he can explain things to me if I need help. I heard he's retiring soon =(

Not easy--the quizzes pressure you not only to think but to think under great time pressure. But, he is SO available (available before AND after school for as long as needed).

One of the few teachers who writes his own textbook. Brush up on your study habits if you plan to take his classes.

CO '97. Still teaching Mr. Johnson? WOW! STILL have your APCalc sheet-o-formulas and used them throughout college. UR awesome but be nicer to kids who don't know the answers.

He certainly embarrasses you, but that's the best part. TOUGH class unless math is natural for you. Best math teacher ever, though, and it is a distinct honor to be in his class.

He helps though he will certainly embarrass you. NOT an easy class (neither AAT nor Calc). Just wait and see if you don't believe me. Study and be smart:so true

Hey, the only negative (I don't think so but anyway) is that he sometimes mocks people for "dumb questions." BEST math teacher but HARD HARD HARD.
