I have Mr. Mac for this 2016-2017 school year. I have to say that at first I was a bit scared of him. The way he speaks is very liberal, blunt, and direct. He's a man who tells you the reality of things instead of giving you what you want to hear. In my honest opinion Mr. Mac isn't a teacher for everyone. I admire the way that he says everything that's on his mind. He teaches like a college professor in a way where some of the things he says can be seem as immoral and sarcastic. Yet, he's great

I graduated a few years ago and by far Mr Mac was one of my favorite teachers in High School. I wish I had had him for Econ as well as Government and maybe I would have done better. The trick to getting along with him...don't be rude or fake.

I like him so far this year, he seems like he knows exactly what he's teaching and explains it a lot more clearly than the book. He started teaching AP gov/econ again this year, and I'm glad I'm in it. He knows how to be a teacher.

Enter his class, and I'll gaurantee you'll get embarassed, but try your best not to show it. His views verge on the outer rims, almost immoral at times, but whatever. I think smthng hppnd 2 him as a kid or smthng, it'd explain SO much.

He is by far the most interesting teacher you will encounter in hs. He looks intimidating and he is to some, but I loved him. Honest. Brutal. Intelligent. Sometimes he doesn't know and youll argue, but he's louder. So by default he's always right.

I respect this guy a lot. He's on a totally different thinking level, which is why him and I clash sometimes. Wish he changed up class more often; did different stuff. kevin c.

Mac gets people to think for themselves. Something that many of the people who gave him a low rating can't do.
