If you have this man you better wear the right shirts, the right ties and so on unless you want to meet Bernie Zerfas then you are dead. One of the best Latin teachers at Austin Prep and a great friend of mine. If you don't know history then you are dead and I know it. So study up and make certain that you know what is going on or else!!!

He is EXTREMELY hard and plays major favorites. If you're not one of the favorites then good luck in his class because you're screwed. If you have less than an A in his class/don't understand sometimes he will take every opportunity to make your life miserable. He picks on the kids he doesn't like and usually yells at them for stupid things that the other students do, but get away with. His tests are very hard and whenever you ask questions, he never gives a straight forward answer.Good luck lol

He expects a lot from his students (as good teachers should), but will happily go the extra mile to help them succeed.

"Roger"? That's MISTER Stone to us mortals! : ) He instills a love of learning, no matter what subject he teaches, and is more than fair to those who try. He seems crusty at first brush, but is truly a caring teacher. sfr

He's a nice guy when you get to know him, just make sure you do your homework. The Aeneid course was really great!

I think he should be more clear, and have less things to study each night.

I <3 Mr. Stone. He is usually the veritible milk of human kindness and an all-around swell guy, except for that time he made me stand in the corner because I "scare people"

Mr. Stone was really funny when I had him (in that whole making-fun-of-people way). He gives a lot of homework, but he's really helpful if you go to extra help.
