I had the pleasure of having Mr. Romano in the late eighties for many different classes. We did not agree on many things, but he never held that against me. If I backed up my point with thoughtful details and facts. he was very pleasant and I learned much from him.
Mr. Romano is a legend in the Stoneham School system and his career itself marks in era. Everyone who came in contact with him was the better for it. Few can blend the devotion to student, education and learning that he did. What a gift for Stoneham.
Romano really helped me out, he was an amazing man. He is very inspiring and you can spend a year with him and he will tell you at least 5 different stories everyday, and never get bored. He is truly wonderful
was by far the best teacher to ever step foot in stoneham high...was never out to get kids...always was guiding kids to do the right things and took his job seriously and was so carign and helpful....i wish he was still at stoneham high, i had him last perios...and although i hated history...id still leave school on that day in a good mood because he was such a smart and great guy...he knows everything too....i love that guy....i give out sooooooooooooo much respect to him!
Really the best teacher ever. Touched so many lives.

I loved Mr.Romano. Every time I see him (now that he's gone), I hug him and we talk about life. Such a cool guy. Go visit him at his house!

Mr. Romano is the best teacher I have ever had. I was lucky enough to have him for two years in a row, where i learned so much more beyound world history.
helped me in so many ways...hes one of those teachers that yo uwill remember his name forever instead of forgeting it the day after you graduate...thanks romano
one of the greatest teachers i've ever had, romano will forever live in infamy. his focus more on the world and life rather than history, but he's amazing
Jim Romano was the BEST teacher I ever had. Now I'm a teacher myself, and I can only hope to be as supportive & genuine with my students as he was with me.
