I had Mr. P. years ago when he first started at Indian Hills. He was a great teacher and great guy. He was knowledgeable about subject matter, treated students well, graded fairly, and even cracked a good joke once in a while. The reason some of you morons don't get good grades or won't get into college is because you can't spell or use proper grammar.
Mr. Petherbridge is the worst teaher i have ever coma across in my entire life. He makes the students in his CP class teach themselves for a week and then give them a test. He NEVER reviews for tests and talks down to students. He has the worst communication skills and gives students labs that dont make sense and then grades terribly. Mr. Petherbridge will be the reason I don't get into college. Always remember "look up"
For all of you reading, the one star ratings because they are very one sided and completely inaccurate. Last year I had the opportunity of having Mr. Petherbridge in his CP Physics class. Mr. Petherbridge wants the student to be engaged in the lesson so he teaches in a way to give the students a more hands on experience. Others have complained about difficulty but the fact of the matter is that its all dependent on your attentiveness and your work ethic. Working hard pays off in Mr.P's class.
If you have Ronald Petherbridge I am very sorry for you. He is by far the worst teacher I have ever had. I get all A'S and B'S but his class is the only C I have ever gotten. He doesn't know how to teach or talk to students at all. He may be very intelligent but his communication and teaching skills are very poor. He also makes his tests impossible and unclear and is very vague with the questions. If you see him on your schedule next year I am very sorry and suggest trying to switch out ASAP.
Mr.P may be a nice guy but he never explains things well. He cannot teach. he says to mess around with the lab until we understand it, or to use google and i'm sitting there like really, are you kidding? He is one of the toughest grades i've ever come across and its like he gets mad or annoyed at you if you don't understand something. Not to mention the points being taken away if u spell something wrong, don't do something up to his standards, or if ur not his favorite. I really don't like Mr.P.
Mr Petherbridge is a very smart man. While he does not teach the easiest subject, it's easy to see that he cares about all of his students. His class is one that you have to pay attention to everyday. He uses old fashioned teaching methods which some would label boring or not helpful. He constantly offers extra help, you just need to make the effort to do well in his class.
You were the worst teacher I have ever come across. I don't understand how you were hired for this job you are not qualified at all. You don't teach right or explain anything right. Your questions make no sense and make me want to jump off a bridge. Learn to teach bud.
he is hands down the worst teacher i have ever had. if you have him, i wish you good luck because your year will be horrible and he will stress you out to no end because it is impossible to get a good grade.
He is a terrible teacher that has no idea what he's doing. He is learning and making up things as he goes, and prints random labs off the internet, and constantly contradicts himself. Also, a very biased grader, and gives you bad grades just because he doesn't like you.
Nice teacher with good intentions but the worst communicator ever. Directions are unclear and often lacking. Grades unfairly and contradicts himself every minute.
Ron Don Petherbrigde is possibly the best teacher i have ever had. He is a hoot and his classes are understandable and fun. Ronny p <3
One of the best teachers I have this year. Easy class if you pay attention to what hes saying.
Why do you people like him so much? He hands out worksheets wich dont' make sense. He contradicts himself way too much.
He is a good teacher but im just a tart in science. However if you come extra help u will do good.
Look... i think the guy is great, i transfered in the middle of the year with a C in physics and he helped me bring my grade to a mid-high B. "acrost the board"
