Tietz was the best teacher I ever had. I still remember the Crisis, Gettysburg Address, and many others. Thank you to Mr. Tietz for being a great teacher and inspiration.

Tietz was the best teacher I had at BPHS. The students who wanted to learn grew SO much, and the others didn't. If you didn't/can't learn from him, then you're not meant for higher education.

I loved Tietz. He made history interesting. A great teacher one of the reasons I became a teacher. I still remember the Summer Soldier and the Gettysburg Address. Tietz ROCK!!!!!!!

He is such a great teacher and kids don't listen anymore (because he's "only a sub"). That is really sad because if you do, you might learn something valuable.

Every time I go back, I avoid seeing him. He taught like a sub (very little) and preached to much. I guess he is doing what he was trained for now...subbing!

His retirement is the biggest blow to our school of all time. His teaching was superb in every sense. I wish I worked harder when I had him in 9th grade.
