I had Mr Vallar in St. Pius X, best and most interesting teach I ever had. During this last election I remembered everything he taught me, way back when, I am 55 today. He was definitely one of a kind.
I took Mr. Vallar's history class back in ~95'. I loved his class. In my opinion his teaching style should be taught to other teachers because I can't believe how much information I still remember from his class 20 years later. In fact, the reason I found this site was because of a flashback To the phrase that Alexander Hamilton used to describe his feelings towards the masses... he was/is an outstanding teacher. Thank you Mr.
Mr. Vallar is the very best teacher I ever had! His passion and knowledge of his subject matter is amazing. As a student in his class, you can not help but learn and learn well! Just a fabulous experience...I loved the guy!!
The greatest inspiration to me in my life! He is why I became a History teacher, I never ever enjoyed the subject and now I teach it for a living! He prepared my for college with his insane and demanding expectations. He was that "once in a lifetime" teacher for me, I am eternally grateful to this man! The most rewarding course of my life was European History (2007)
Mr. Vallar was by far the greatest teacher I have ever had. His class was very hard but in the end it is all worth it. I'll never forget his class and what he taught me
I never had vallar before but I do this year one question does he write a lot of notes on an over head like some former alumni at other schools say or he just dictates the notes cuz some say that if y
This man brings a tear to my eye becuase he is the greatest teacher I have ever had, he is a one of a kind teacher and they will never make em like Vallar. I only wish there were more like him.
I know more about Rome and Early Catholicism than any guy my age should, all thanks to Mr. Vallar! One of my favorite teachers at Cross, hands down.
great guy, gave an idea what college class will be like
I had this guy 4 yrs ago, he gives you a taste of what college professors may do. His US History class felt like an AP course. Tests: not even regents style.
He is one of the best teachers my children have ever had, and was a great speaker at two of our eighth grade graduations at Sacred Heart School in Bayside.
I had Mr. Vallar at St. Pius X for 7th and 8th grade and had the utmost respect for him. We need more teachers like him. I wish my son could have him.
Mr. Vallar taught us things at the time I didn't think we really needed to know and now as an adult I can't believe other adults don't know these things. A+
You take notes and study you will do ok i dont care what anyone says, what a nerdy guy though and goes way to hard, but overall he gets his point across.
I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE MR. VALLAR'S STUDENT IN THE 7TH, 8TH AND 11TH GRADE. ALL OF ROSEDALE HONORS HIM. I TEACH HISTORY TODAY BECAUSE OF HIM. THE BEST!!
Awesome teacher! Make you have tests that are even harder than the regents. Makes you work hard but its worth it!!!!
He is a very tough teacher you can learn in his class, but makes it almost impossible to succeed in it.
People say that you will meet one teacher that will change your view of school, well Mr. Vallar is that teacher, he is one of the best teacher's ever
The greatest history teacher ever, I still remember everything he taught me!!!!
This guy is the greatest U.S History teacher in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
