One of my favorite teachers from Murrow. He respects a good, positive attitude and interest in his class. Always hysterical, made the subject fun and easy to understand. I miss his classes dearly. He always cared and it was clear that he was deeply passionate about teaching. More teachers should be like him.
He is probably the most influencial teacher ive ever had in my life. He taught me more than just in the classroom. I learned from him, exactly what I want to do with my life. He made me aprieciate shakespeare, and musical theatre history. I feel honored to have learned from him. Its a shame others won't get the benefit that Ive had.
He chooses his favorites but he is very inspirational
He is the best theatre teacher who ever lived its too bad that this is his last year. He only has a great deal of compassion and respect for you if you take him seriously. If you ake his class to get an eazy A well than youve made a wrong choice. He is great, hes worked with some students that have turned to stars and celebs. What a great man its also too bad that his days are comming to an end. I can truely say that he has accomplish a great amount in his life and I respect him to the highest extent
he is passionate, yes, but he does show favoritism to theater kids. he is helpful but he latches onto arbitrary things way tooo much. and he is a bit psycho. as long as you stay in his good side hes ok.
This teacher is the worst teacher that you could ever have. He only cares about his "favorites" and no one else. His work is easy to pass but his personality is really weird. He tries to make the class laugh and only half of the class respond to him. He's such a bad teacher, don't even know why murrow hire these kinds of teacher.
Mr. Schwartz is a good director... but he pre-casts every play he casts. And its annoying. we all KNOW who is favorites are. He is in his own little world. He has hurt my selfesteem very much so .
Can you say nightmare??? Everyone knows that the producers was cast before auditions were ever done. he has his pets and everyone knows that too. he is not nice and everyone knows that.
He's great. It doesn't really matter what his personality is like (even though I think he's great as a teacher and otherwise), but he knows much more about real theatre than other teachers and can teach you a lot about acting, plays, and anything else having to do with theatre.
VERY NICE! He doesn't acknowledge people who aren't in theatre- but i am so =]
he hates the world but i think its funny, and he makes me laugh.
he is an okay teacher and i learn a lot but he does show favoritism
I've only been there for a few months and already he let me in the musical, and is a really good director.
While he is good at teaching his favoritism shows deeply.
I had him for a Shakespeare class on Othello and he was really good. It was about 5 years ago, so I don't remember specifics, except he made me enjoy Shakespeare.
an amazing teacher. he has seemingly unlimited knowledge and shares so much with his students. he knows when the appropiate times are to joke and when it is time to get down towork
One of the best teachers I've ever had. He's knowledgeable, thorough, funny, friendly - never boring. Each class is like a mini performance. Doesn't give tons of pointless homework. I learned SO much.
Had him between 93 & 97, he really discouraged me to continuing with performing, when Mr. Ellman thought I was good
He's a good teacher but seems to be friendly only w/ the kids who are in the shows and participate in the theater program, but not others
he is an excellent teacher. the only problem i had is the class dat i took for him (shakespeare comedy) i hate shakespeare and dat class made me hate it more.
EXCELLENT - EXTRAORDINARY Director. His directing with AMADEUS was superb. He puts a lot of effort and soul, and cares about students. PRAY U GET HIM!! :)
He's a nice teacher, maybe he's just a little behind his students' presence of mind that he may be unable to help you with some things.
One of my favorite teachers in Murrow. He's taught me so much more than I expected, and he's a great guy.
One of the best teachers I've ever had, and ever will.
Mr. Schwartz is like totally the greatest teacher ever!
he was always there for me and helped me through many challenges, and made many of my dreams come true
HYSTERICALLY FUNNY. And his teaching style is very clear and entertaining, so the students absorb information and learn very easily. He's a great director too.
Its fun to watch him act out the scenes of the play that is being read in class. He has a great sense of humor. He is also an easy grader.
Mr. Schwartz is very good teacher but becareful with him.
