Worum offered no insight to my work and only looked at the surface of it, only focusing on the neatness and aesthetic of it. I felt like I was being criticized for doing my own thing artistically every time she passed by my desk. I was ashamed of my own artwork and even considered dropping art.If you have her, don't let her negativity and criticism get to your head, chances are your art and mind are far more meaningful and interesting than the picture perfect one she wants from you
Hate her. Made art miserable I ended up dropping it, I've always been complimemted on my art by previous teachers and my work has been displayed in many showcases, she once told me I should review my elementary school art concepts, I'm an honors art student. Basically critized every piece of work and I'm not even convinced she can draw a stick figure as she didn't demonstrate or help the whole year. Just wonders to room and makes negative comments under her breathe, retire you won't be missed.
SHE IS THE WORST TEACHER. EVERYDAY WHEN THAT TIME COMES AROUND TO GO INTO THAT CLASS I DEBATE SUCIDE. SHE GIVES NO INSTRUCTION, SO DON'T EVER BOTHER ASKING FOR HELP. THE ONLY REASON SHE'S STILL HERE IS BECAUSE OF THAT 10 YEAR THING OTHERWISE SHE WOULD BE GONE. HONESTLY I DON'T EVEN THINK SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE'S DOING ITS LITERALLY JUST WORKSHEET AFTER WORKSHEET AND THE SAME UNHELPFUL REPETITIVE DIRECTIONS. I WOULDN'T EVEN BOTHER GOING.WASTE OF TIME ANS SPACE FOR A GOOD TEACHER/SHE NEEDS TO QUIT
ive never seen her demonstrate art once this entire year. she probably cant even do art. if you ask her to help you dont expect her to respond shell just walk over to someone else. switch out.
I think she learns more in class everyday than the class does. Don't expect any help or direction here, but do expect your work to be "unsatisfactory" no matter what.
Literally destroyed my work, and in graphic design, she DIDNT KNOW what tools to use in Photoshop. Its your job, lady. Lectures were incredibally slow, boring and repetitive. I learned nothing. Ta
Oh first impressions are SO wrong. She seemed nice the first day. My advice: Tune out her instructions that take all period and "Remember to BLEND!!!" (Her favorite reminder. You'll hear it about 10 times a day, along with "Neatness counts!)
Well she's a nice teacher but a bit "Woo!". I wouldn't exactly call her the best teacher in the world. And I also feel like we're digressing in the maturity of our artwork. We started out with drawing lines, moved on to coloring things with obscenely messy pastels, and we even drew with glue. Oh, and don't bother using the soap either. It's water.
I dont even have her and I can tell shes bad. I can hear her shouting in a mean tone from next door.
if you are a prodigy picasso or van gaugh, she'll adore you. if not, i wish you luck this year!
She doesn't even know how to work the programs in computer graphics.
Definatly knows what she is talking about. Could relate to her students more though
