I personally do not like Mr. Tatum at all, and I feel that he is an extremely hard person to work with. In addition, he singles people out. he has a very one sided view of almost everything, he can be wildly offensive and dismissive of inquiring students. I do believe that he is a good director in terms of movement throughout the stage, but i think he also believes that there is only one way to perform a scene correctly. His way, even if most others disagree with his choices.
I really hate him. He has his joking around attitude, but then he just switches sometimes and is the biggest a-hole. He singles out people and always calls them out for doing nothing. And then he constantly talks about all that meditation and buddhism stuff and it's like okay in the beginning, but then it gets really annoying because he wastes literally 30 minutes of class time talking about that stuff. He is a good director though
Absolutely insane. A brilliant director. If you do your fundamental job and work, and listen and take strong consideration to everything he tells you, your relationship with him will be spectacular.
He's ok. Can be pretty moody but generally nice. He's always out of it when he's on something, groovy.
Tatum lives four blocks from me, and is the coolest teacher I know. He is just awesome and we need more teachers like him.
