Eh. I have to give a mediocre review for this guy. I found his yelling to be less than helpful, and he was not easy to work with outside class. He plays obvious favorites, and even if you weren't a person he hated, you still didn't have great standing with him. But the guy is a legend in the local music world (maybe even national). He is also insanely good at trombone- seriously, he's an incredible player.
Nice guy. He should probably stop saying "Thanks for stopping 10 minutes ago" so much though.
OMG the dude is King! A letter from him gets you into any school of music or the band!
Mr. Wilson roxx. He's much, much nicer than Ms. Moates, who hates drumline class with a passion >_>
Those of you who haven't been in other band programs don't realize just how awesome of a director he is. Don't take it for granted!
A good band director, but wouldn't less talk and more work make our show even better? And I love the program, but what's up w/ the favoritism? Go flutes!!
he's a nice person.. but he goes off on tangents about us wasting time, but he ends up wasting MORE time than we did. favoritism is also a problem.
He gets frusterated easily and can really go off on tangent about nothing, but when he's ina good mood, a cool guy to hang around.
He goes off in long talks. He loves to hear himself talk. He cant relate to us and he has favorites
he's an awesome director.. he knows what he's doing..
10 years ago, I would have told you Mr Wilson was just ok. Today, I realize what a great teacher he really is. I learned a lot from him. Thanks Mr. Wilson!
he tells us a lot of stuff we already know, but he's o.k.
He's cool...for a brass teacher. Not as obnoxious as the brass players!
