I am now over 10 years out of high school, and I still use everything Mrs Gazzola taught me everyday. In my work and in my everyday life, in any writing, editing, or critical thinking. She is a tough cookie, but knows how to get the best out of her students. I will always be grateful to her and I know many others feel the same!
As I write this review, I am sitting in the library of one of the country's top 5 business schools. My path towards acceptance at this school and towards the excellent career opportunities I will have once I graduate began in 2007 when I took Honors English with Mrs. Gazzola. Although I was far from the brightest student in class, Mrs. Gazzola's tough love and high expectations inspired me to strive for my best. I will continue to make use of the lessons she taught me for the rest of my life.
Mrs. Gazzola was the best teacher I have ever had. She not only taught me how to write and communicate like a professional but the high expectations that she had for me allowed me to finally come into my own academically, and I began to hold myself to the same kind of high expectations. She is a no nonsense kind of teacher but in hindsight I appreciate that: she challenged us to learn and to grow and we had fun doing it. Thank you Mrs. Gazzola, you have truly affected my life for the better.
Mrs. Gazzola is single handidly the greatest teacher I have ever had. And i only had her for half a year bc she was a fill in for mrs more. she is the greatest and i love her and miss her.
I attend a highly ranked university, and rarely do I get through a day without wishing for a teacher of Mrs. Gazzola's caliber. If I ever accomplish anything worthwhile, I will be sure to thank her.
Mrs. Gazzola is an amazing teacher anyone is lucky to have her. She may seem hard at times but if you do your work and seem like you want to be there. She will love you forever!!
Gazzola is the single best teacher you'll have. If you miss her class, you're missing a real life experience. Don't be a big wuss, actually learn something for once
on the first day of school i was lost and in the hallway and she screamed at me. i hated her. the next year i had her, she was the best english teacher 've had. she made me liove english and writing!
If you have her, you are in for a wild ride. She is terrifying, extremely demanding, and sometimes a little irrational. But in the end, you will be glad you had her. She is really extremely helpful. Still trying to figure out if all the work paid off, and I am leaning toward "yes"
What do I think of Mrs. Gazzola? I think she's informative and helpful...when she's willing to answer your questions, that is.VERY Sarcastic-but to the whole class.I like that she takes time to grade our writing.I don't agree with her assumtion that everyone loves english though. The psychological aspects of her classroom are more interesting than the lessons
I am now out of college and I can remember nothing about her except how SCARED I was of her! I was in her honors English class and all class long all I hoped for was that she wouldn't notice me and call on me. I learned very little because she was so scary!
Wonderful teacher. Despite how she may sometimes seem, she is a caring lady as well. If you are serious about writing and learning, she's the one to take. Top notch! Oh, and getting an A isn't hard at all. Show up to class and do the work.
i miss mrs. gazzola! she's THE best english teacher that i ever had. she made me a better writer, i learned so much from her and if you have her now, count yourself lucky. i recommand taking her AP Comp class, it's lots of work, but you learn so much
I have her now, and let me tell you she is the scariest women on the planet, but I am learning how to write.
Best English teacher at South hands down, she'll teach you how to read and write like no one else can. What I learned in her class still rings in my head years later.
I had her for latin sat prep, and i was sooooo scared of her at first, but i've learned a lot from her class and am so glad i didn't drop it!
She turned me into a great writer. Thank you so much Mrs G.!
I will always remember her and her class as being one i learned so much in and that got me ready for college. Brilliant women who everyone should let teach them
Mrs. Gazzola is great.. definately a memorable class. She taught me so much but I didn't realize it until college. Thanks for everything!
It's difficult to rate her on "Easiness." She's demanding in a positive way that can ONLY help you. Take her class.
best teacher on the planet take a class with her just make sure you do the work
I think I won 'jerk of the day' more than anyone. She's tough but thanks to her I aced my papers in college when some others didn't have a clue. She's the best!
She is my favorite teacher and one of my favorite people in the whole world
Your edit notes and writing exercises are much appreciated. Thank you for helping me take my writing to the next level.
Scared me at first, but now I see she is funny and good at teaching.
Thanks for teaching me how to "maniuplate my language"! Great teacher, much loved.
Mrs. Gazzola was the only teacher who taught me how to write at a college level while still in HS. I owe a lot to her b/c of that. Thanks Mrs. G!!
although not easy, you DEFINATELY learn how to write in her class. and she's hilarious.
AMAZING TEACHER! I have learned the best lessons of life in her class. Thanks for being a great teacher!
best word to describe her would be: intimidating. she's a great teacher though.
u either love her or hate her, but u gotta respect her.
