I'm in college now.. I miss Saffy :D
had him on AP Computer Science. He is a great teacher. He's not that good on lectures though. There are labs due almost everyday. There were always home works during the first half of the year. His pair programming in second half is great. Sometimes he's fast in teaching that you need to study at home to catch up Overall he's good, I got a 5 in AP CS.
As a teacher, he's not great. As a person, he's really kind and likeable. Did I mention that he repairs kilns for Clay Cafe Studios?
U basically teach urself in pre-calc it's rediculous and staying after doesn't really help cuz he leaves at 3 so that's leaves u about 40 mins of after school time. I'm sure he means well but it's like he expects u to already kno what he has to teach u. it's like no ur a teacher I came here to learn not to review stuff I don't kno! nice guy , not so good of a precalc teacher.
MR.SAFFORD IS THE MAN. had him for 2 years (algebra 2, geometry) super disappointed i didn't get him for precalc. safford has got some hilarious humor. the 2 years i had saffy, it was by far the 2 most funniest classes eveeeerr. always looked forward to math. :)
mr.safford is really helpful. plays his ipod for us, and he's a great person
he's alright.. he can be boring but overall... he teaches you the stuff and stay after school if you were joking around too much in class to learn it.
hes cool you just have to really know math and not expect him to help you
I'd switch out of his class if you got him. He's boring and this is different for different people, but he couldn't explain practically any of the material for me. I ended up with a D, took summer school and got an A.
He's not very exciting when teaching, but he is trying. You learn in this class by actually pay attention and slighty teaching your self the info if you don't get how he's teaching it. He is also willing to help if you ask.
