I came into that class hearing that Mr. B was going to be a great teacher. When you enter this class, you may expect to learn things. You will learn only about current events. Being that it was an ap class it's ridiculous. His tests are really hard. I remember my friends and I read the chapter thoroughly and we all got C's. These are kids taking 6/7 APs and doing well in those classes. This class will not prep you for the ap exam. All i can say is good luck and just get on his good side.
I got switched out of Mr. Brumbaugh's class early, and I am so happy for it. The year that I had him, the other class ended up being at least three chapters ahead. He spent like a month and a half teaching Great Britain then rushed through the non-intuitive countries. He spends a lot of time telling stories and detracting from the classroom environment. He's a very knowledgeable man, and knows what he's talking about, and is very helpful. But I would NOT take his class if given a choice.
a very nice teacher, but sometimes he focuses too far from the curriculum and his tests are based in the curriculum not what is discussed in class
had him for study hall, he talked too much and never let the class be quite, made me mad because I was trying to do work and all he did was tell jokes
"mr. b" is one of the best teachers ever. very down to earth & treats his students as peers. his teaching holds your attention while covering necessities.
hes a good man. deserves much recognition for being such a good teacher
Brumabugh is full of facinating stories that bring the world of Government into more then just laws and principles. He makes me believe life imitates AP Gov.
i only had mr. brumbaugh for summer school but he was awesome and kept me motivated. he also tells the best stories. he's awesome!
My favorite teacher Senior year...A very unique character who made AP government fun.
AP Government Rocks! If any of you take his classes, ask him if he still finds post-it notes. ;-)
