I haven't been in high school for twenty years, but out of all my teachers I had, I remember her as the best. For those who have had her as a teacher, count yourselves fortunate. For those of you who are worried about having her next year, you are in good hands. Trust me...after taking her AP course, I had the highest score in validating chemistry at West Point in two years. 1992 Highland Park alumni
worst teacher ever. You cannot imagine. See Yeager.
She is the least flexible teacher you can find in EB. She does explain things clearly, and if you do ur part you can get a minimum of B in her class, but she treats students as a robot. I can't stand her sense of humor. i hated how when we took any exams or graded work like labs, she would never answer ur question in the middle. Even if the question was not printed clearly :@ she does not accept hw after the moment she passes ur desk, even if it's like in ur locker. She should see Ms. Yeager.
Mrs. Krupinski is a great teacher who is extremely helpful. She never judges her students and is very fair and unbiased. Having her as a teacher was an invaluable experience and I enjoy earning her respect. You are quite a lucky student if you have her as a teacher.
She's so cool. I didn't have her for Honors Chem this year, but I hope to have her next year for AP Chem! I like strict teachers.
Are you kidding me...How can you say that she cares only about her A students when is is after school everyday for extra help. I am not an A student and she was there for me.
She teaches Hons Chem like its an AP class. She has her pets. She only wants to teach the above average students 'Any teacher can teach the brilliant kids. She doesn;t want to be bothered with B kids.
She is a very good teacher, and though she grades hard and the class is tough, you really learn a lot from her class. Her after school Chemistry SAT review was very helpful.
she is very very fair and she stays after school and is there before school everyday. i hated chem at first but now i really like it because of her!!!
i had her for both honors and AP. she is an amazing teacher, however the classes ARE difficult. you have to study. a lot. read the book, do the homework. do it again before the tests. she always encouraged us to understand the material, not just understand it. i miss her! she made chemistry super interesting.
Everyone says she's intimidating, scary, too harsh of a grader, and terrible. I think she is a great teacher. Just because it's hard to pass her class doesn't make her an incompetent teacher, it makes us incompetent students. She teaches Chemistry Honors. It's HONORS. If you can't handle a hard teacher, drop out. And I think she is perfectly encouraging. She always tells us to put our answers on the board even if they're wrong. She really focuses on a deep level of understanding and I respect her very much.
She really helps you to learn how to think through and not just memorize chemistry
Really great teacher. You need to study for the tests and they tend to be hard. I feel like the other chem teachers are easier.
She is not easy and a harsh grader but she is a great teacher and you will learn a lot from her.
Had her for AP Chem. She favors the AP Chem class over her other classes. She was a wonderful teacher, but the tests were challenging. They went beyond the notes and readings. Sometimes, the class got boring because it was just lectures every day, and we would always hear about Kimmel blowing something up across the hall. But she brought food for us every once in a while. :) She is almost always available before and after school for help, and she is rarely absent (at least not for the AP class).
She is very difficult and hard grader. Intimidating and unapproachable. When I was doing bad in the course and went for help, she did nothing. I would not take her again if I had to. I had her 2006-2007.
She's very intimidating and seems very unapproachable. However, in the classroom setting, she is an awesome teacher. Mrs. Krupinski definitely knows her stuff & uses examples rather than definitions. She's a hard grader, has difficult tests, but is completely fair when it comes to everything else. I wish she would have a friendlier demeanor, even though I know it's there [we have seen small glimpses!]. Awesome teacher overall! (: You'll learn a lot about chemistry.
she's a great teacher. she goes over everything very nicely and clearly, so it's easy to understand. her tests are a little, though. so don't expect to get an A-/A without putting in tons of effort.
She's a little intimidating and a very hard teacher. She really does want us to do well, though, and you can learn a lot if you put effort into her class.
she is somewhat unpredictable in her easiness. one week, she will be the easiest teacher and want us to do well. then the next week, she'll be very difficult and won't review before a test. I've found that she tends to purposely teach us new material before a test, so that we would have to study a lot on our own to prove that we studied and re-learned the material.
very nice teacher! but strict and her tests are very hard but she is amazing!
I had her 20 years ago. she cared then, and does now, apparently. great.
seems mean in the beginning but is acually very nice. Very strict but that's always good for me! Never would've gotten such a good SATII score if it wasn't for her. So glad I had her.
her tests were extremely hard and she made everything more difficult than it should be, yet i still learned a lot. she should DEFINATELY ease up a bit...
Mrs. K is my fave teacher ever!!! so glad i had her--she made chem awesome!!! period 3/4 chem A 2003-2004 ROCKED!!! LOVE YA MRS K!
das true, she is very strict, and one of the hardest chem teacher in EBHS, BUT she's clear, and so helpful.I'm so thankful to have hur.
she's sooo clear and helpful. but hard and strict... but i lov eher
the way she teaches is excellent, really good and she is very very helpful
don't have you as a teacher :(, but hear ur great! come back to HPHS; we NEED a good chem teacher!
she's really nice, and pretty strict, shes a great teacher and person
She's patient and funny and knows her stuff and very no-nonsense :)
Real nice, likes the subject she teaches, willing to stay after
pretty good teacher...moves through material a little fast though
