I heard terrible things about Mrs. Arthurs going into Algebra 2 honors. I was scared for nothing! She is one of the nicest teachers I have had. No, she's not the world's greatest math teacher but she's no worse than many of the other math teachers in our school. If you pay attention in class you should be able to understand most of the work. If not she is available in the math lab for help which is very beneficial. I just wish she would stop using the decrepit transparencies.

I initially disliked her class. A LOT. And I couldn't seem to get the hang of her teaching. But after a while I really put some effort into it; she's very accessible and very willing to help. She clearly knows a lot about the subject, but she's not complacent and her material will challenge you. By the end of the year, however, I was a fan. I think she's doing a great job - it just takes a little effort.

I really like her as a person, but I just could not stomach her class. It was one of the most harrowing experiences of my life.

Can be a bit boring, but is still a good teacher...people tend to be bitter if theyre not doing well in class, which is often not her fault

One of the nicest teachers I've had, also one of the worst. Does not explain anything, rather makes kids learn EVERYTHING for themselves

Mrs.A really loves to teach. She trains you to think for yourself and not to rely on tutors. She cares about her students' academics as well as character development. Don't slack

I used to be good in math. Now I'm failing because I'm in her class. Be aware to anyone who gets her in the future: she flies through it and doesn't teach.

She can teach, but she chooses not to. In class she alludes to concepts insdead of explaining them. So, my real math teacher this year is a private tutor.
