perhaps the best teacher I've had in terms of getting me excited to learn about history. She is extremely well-learned, knows how to communicate with high school students, and organized in a manner that gets things done on time, but without a heavy burden on the students

She is a fantastic teacher- she knows what she is talking about, but to tell you the truth, sometimes she scares me :P But, I'm glad I had her as my APUSH teacher, because I've learned a lot about history, and a lot about modern-day political issues. She'll definetly make you work-- so be prepared!

Although her class was at times difficult, she is my favorite teacher of all time. Not only is she an amazing teacher, but an inspirational woman. She makes you work, but you will DEFINITELY learn.

I loved her!! The class itself involves a lot of work and note taking, but it's all worth it. She's a brilliant person, and I learned so much in her class!

Difficult and time consuming class. Mrs. Burgess has a great personality. Her teaching ability is hindered if the students don't do their assignments. Be prepared to study like mad.
