Nice, mostly. Sometimes helpful. Sorta difficult. Meh.
byerly is a good teacher and is eager to help his students, but makes you work
If you are in an honors, seminar or even AP class expect to do work. If you're too lazy to learn it yourself or ask any teacher for help, then you don't deserve to be in that class.
I like his class. Just only wish he wouldn't eat his students.
If you degrade Byerly you are lying to yourself. He's difficult, but you just can't learn math from a lazy teacher. If you are doing poorly, ask him for help.
I had a 74 in his honors geometry class but now average a 97 in his seminar calc class. If u try a little, he will help you all the way. Just don't BS yourself.
Byerly has high standards & expects you to work in his class. If you're failing it's because you don't ask for help. He'll put in the time if you're willing to.
Mr. Byerly can't teach right. His tests are ridiculous and completely different from what he teaches. If you have him for math. drop now!!!
hes a cool guy and all its just hard, honors kids are getting seminar work and it shows in the low grades Any other honors subj the average is a 90's his is 81
byerly is honestly a great guy, so the only reason somebody would have to give him a 1 is the fact that he actually expects you to work. stop being lazy!
byerly, honestly, could have been the worst teacher i have ever had. i am trying to remember way back, but i cant seem to think of a worse teacher.
You have to know how he works and have a lot of motivation. He teaches on a peer to peer level, which isn't what a lot of students, especially freshmen, need.
Very cool guy once you get to know him (had 3 classes with him). Not the best teacher, but willing to help you out a lot if you need it.
