Mr.Carey is literally the coolest teacher. He is so funny. But make sure you do all your work on time. He is very helpful. No other teacher has prepared me as much as he has for college. I will never regret the close to 25 page paper that I did second semester because it really showed me how much work you need to put into something if you really want the graded. Even though he does cuss, which I do not mind, he cares about his students and their grades and long as you care about it too.

He is the type of teacher who will rub salt in an open wound, blame it on you, and still somehow get you to love his teaching style, but would would crave it like a fetish. He would make you work endless night and sleepless weekend only to write a paper he skims through. He will laugh in you face. Piss on what you love. Great teacher 9/10 would take him again.

The best teacher that could teach me how to be a college level writer. If you really want to go to college, but don't know how to prepare, you've found the right guy! Teaches a really hard class for a normal English class, but it'll be worth to stay in his class when you have thoughts of leaving. If you want to pass desperately, you can give him the occasional tamale. LOL! Carey you're awesome!

The class was very tough, but Carey made it that way to help everyone become better writers. Hilarious, and will keep you awake throughout the whole class. Don't be scared of him, just bring him donuts/cakes/cookies and you should be on his good side.

Tough, but worth it. Internet plagiarism sites aren't the end all, though. Carey rocks, save the Chunk.

He is over-rated. People are too hypnotized by him to realize that his teaching is smoke and mirrors.
