Mr. Ranani is a good guy. Kinda monotone, but still a good guy.
LOTS of homework (mainly from the textbook), very monotone/boring, doesn't like when people ask him questions. He definitely knows his stuff, but can't covey it to the class and comes off as confusing.
He was actually a decent teacher (I had him for level 2) but he was not a friendly guy. He had a sort of boring/empty personality. Not really willing to work with you, but if you paid attention you did well.
Good luck if you want to take Algebra 2 Honors. Mr. Ranani looks to make your life as hard as possible for his enjoyment. He never teaches anything and expects you to learn it all yourself, it doesn't matter if you know math, tests are unfinishable
He is a good Honors teacher, and can joke around with us using cool math stuff. He does give a lot of hwk, and doesn't check it much. His sons are very cute.
Cannot explain ANYTHING to you. Only explains why you do things but not HOW TO DO THEM. Way too much homework and expects us to be little homeworkaholics.
He doesn't teach in Algebra 2 Honors. Gives us work and sits at his desk. If we ask questions he says look in the book or ask a friend.
THIS MAN IS THE DEVIL REINCARNATE. I HAD HIM FOR TWO YEARS! HE IS GREAT FOR LEVEL TWO BUT IF YOU HAVE HIM FOR HONNORS YOU WILL NEED NERVES OF STEAL BECAUSE I WILL GARENTEE YOU WILL HAVE A NERVIOUS BREAKDOWN. his class landed a hystarical me in guidance. he grades unfairly and in the full semester i was in his honnors class he literally taught us TWO lessons. thats correct: TWO. the rest was massive ammounts of homework, work sheets and five minute quizzes that should really be called exams.
He's a horrible teacher. He expects his honors students to know everything without him teaching it. He makes students feel stupid if they ask a question he believes they should already know. He's very nitpicky about notation
One of the best teachers at Amity. He teaches PreCalc in a way that allows everyone to understand it. Great at explaining details and preparing his students for his quizzes and/or tests. He is a kind and funny man who never g
Hes the worse teacher i have ever seen in my life he thinks that we are all the same and learn without being shown how to do the problems if he wants to be this type of teacher i think he should just move to ucon or something
He is a good teacher overall. Some people really like him but others do not like his personality. Very cold and calm, some people get a condescending vibe from him; Others love him. I don't particularly like him as a person b
He really wants everyone to do well, he puts a lot of effort into his class.
mr. ranani's the man!!! challenging class but you learn a lot... he makes many difficult topics look easy! highly recommended!
Mr. Ranani is truly one of Amity's best math teachers, especially when it comes to PreCalc. He's easy to understand, and really cares about how well his students do. If you get him, get ready! You're gonna love his class!
He's a great teacher. He's fair with grading and easy to understand. He's personable too.
Good teacher. Prepares you well for every test. Challenging but good teaching style.
i loveeeeeeeeeeeee mr ranani...coolest teacher ever and doesnt mind giving extra help... hes not hard i just did bad b/c i stink at precalc hehe
Mr Ranani is a great teacher and he is very helpful he is one of my favorite teachers because he is friendly and funny
Mr. Ranani is the best math teacher in the world. Not only is he a good teacher, but he's a good person, too.
