Tests are incredibly hard. Really easy to zone out in class. He's very good at physics though.
he has the knowledge, but can he teach? that is the question. thankfully he's only teaching here for one year before he goes back to Exeter. he needs to explain things more. why does he not correct mistakes we make in class?
Not an easy teacher only because he doesn't make things clear. Very condescending... not to jump to conclusions but probably has a lot of self esteem issues. His curriculum is very straightforward but he manages to twist bias
Good teacher, though boring at times. Did lots of great demonstrations.
he often dodged questions and was so dry and boring. I frequently heard other teachers mocking him.
VERY CLEAR ON GRADING, everything he covers is worth the time spent and he really knows his stuff. Don't get on his bad side, though. Recognizes hard work and genuine interest.
quite frankly the most condescending man i have ever met. extremely hard grader - he doesn't have an actual point system, but takes off for big or small errors (makes you wonder if there is a bias)
Incredibly clear, class is always productive, willing to help out, but at the same time he has high standards for his students which is not a bad thing
Knows his stuff and how to teach it. Seems like a very fair grader, but also recognizes hard work (always put problems up if you can) and will reward it.
Definitely a nice guy, but a hard teacher for sure. Go to the extra help sessions, and study hard for teast, and you will do well in his class, as well as actually learn something
honestly, he is a very fair teacher, and i learned a lot from him. you cant afford to slip though, he keeps you on your toes. you learn so much from him.
Awesome! Learned and remember a lot, enjoyed class. Well organized, great demonstrations! Go over hw probs every day for clarity. Gives Xtra help sessions!
One of the most misunderstood teachers at PEA. He is the clearest, most structured science teacher I've had. Fair in every sense - and he has a sense of humor!
Salty dog is a good man; individual help, not sessions, are fruitful. he even makes jokes.. sometimes.
hard to ask questions in class. my class average was 72, but he curved. am switching out of his class this term.
switch out..a science teacher told me to think of him as an accountant, i think that's a sign he shouldn't be teaching...can't even ask questions to in class
