I was in Mr. Tarlton's HA English 2 class. Mr. Tarlton might have a monotone voice and might not be suitable for some students. However, I didn't really mind his monotone voice, so I did find his class very enjoyable, and it was not at all intimidating. He has a lot of experiences and knowledge so I find it really fun to learn from him. He is actually really funny if you can figure out his jokes.

Didn't like his teaching methods. Felt that he could have paid more attention to detail.

Cool class! Learned how to write an essay. I disagree on monotone, most of my teachers can put many students to sleep. He's funny and makes us pay attention. A lot of reading.

I have Mr. Tarlton this year and I enjoy his class overall! Warning: He is monotone. He doesn't really care if you sleep in his class though, he doesn't do anything about the ones who do sleep. I love his projects and writing assignments. He is quite witty, but you have to pay close attention to them. He's a great teacher and you can tell he really cares about literature and wants you to enjoy it too. (:

'02EH1 - Nice guy, get use to projects, not too bad actually. Spelling tests are easy points so do well. Video project on the Hero's journey was probably the best part of the year

Helps us understand what we're reading and doesn't give me too much homework. There is homework though but its just the right amount.
