Señora is very sweet and entertaining, and it's clear that she means well regarding teaching, and it's clear that she likes her students, but she is not a very good teacher. If you study properly you will do well in the class, but she does play favorites and it's difficult to get on her good side if you don't kiss her ass. If you can ignore snarky ridicule (or dish it back out, because she likes to have fun), and study as much as she wants, you'll enjoy the class.
I've had Senora for 2 years of Spanish. The first year, I did not get her at all and I was not her favorite. She was confusing and frustrating. The 2nd year, I think I was one of her favorites so I did well in her class that year.
Before I say the negatives , I do want to say she's sometimes funny and means well.
Ok.. First off , she picks favorites! And cleary shows it. Very unclear about lessons, never answer your questions (she even gets mad 80% of the time ). Expects you to know things and picks things up if she happens to mention it. Always waste class time then blames you and keeps you in after class (especially if u have her as your las class or before lunch).
TIP: to waste class time, talk about politics
I enjoyed the class just not the way she taught. She would always yell @ us for doing the notes a minute before class ended even though she spent the 1st 30 min of class making her lesson plan
In our class, she's very kind and funny because our class seems to be a "good" kind, always making her laugh and having some really smart people in there.
A "my way or the highway" type of teacher. Don't get her talking about politics (or do, if you want to stall for time) as she will tend force her views upon you. I quite honestly dreaded coming to this class each day, but I think it did improve my spanish a bit- not enough for spanish four though. With assignments like writing a journal every day over Xmas break and a LOT of projects you end up doing a fair amount of work- though the work itself is not particularly challenging.
I like her. She's nice. And HARD, but nice. She really wants you to pass her class too. Make your good better, and your better best, or whatever that saying was.
i think she means well and it think she is a nice teacher but some things she just says and how she says it puts me down...and when i work hard & dont get the grade i deserve.
she plays favorites and is very forceful of her opinions. her class is boring and it seems like she doesnt like teaching or her students.
Plays favorites. Pushes ideas onto you (she refused to talk to my stepmom cause she doesnt believe in divorce). Doesnt really understand English or teenagers.
Senora thinks that she is alwalys right. when she is not. She thinks that Democrats are communists. she never tells what the hw is.
NEVER collects homework, NEVER tells you the homework before you leave the class, and ALWAYS plays favorites. Join Spanish club if you want an A.
i hated that class soo much. she plays favorites. u cant understand wut u're doing. and she'll never admit she's wrong. turned me off spanish forever.
Senora is very set in her views and thinks she is always right. She also gets off topic a lot.
well. where do i start. Senora is very idealistic and expects u to go all out on her projects because she forgets that we you have other classes besides her.
she is very unclear.. also, she tries to enforce her ideas onto the class.. always promoting conservatism.. easy to get off topic in her class
Senora Gonzalez expects you to know what she teaches you NOW. The second you learn anything you have to master it!! Senora doesn't care if you have a life.
she's never wrong. she forces her opinion on you. she gives tests she never talks about. she gives us lots of busy work.
Favors students in her class so if she doesn't like you, then you won't get an A. She probably doesn't grade hw/tests; she only grades on what she thinks of you
