- I had Mr. Torbert for summer CS and he's been on of my favorite teachers. His class taught me java in a fun and interesting way, without any of the annoying busy-work that other classes had to plod through. His class made me interested in taking more classes in CS.

- He is my favorite teacher. He is enthusiastic, intelligent, and helpful. I learn so much from his classes without having to do any busy work. All of the labs are fun and he provides extentions and challenging additions to those who finish early while helping those who are struggling. He is just awesome.

- Had him for accelerated cs. He teaches really well, lets you skip stupid labs, and he can basically answer any comp sci question you have really clearly. One of the few teachers who actually knows CS.
