Ms. Quinlan is a funny teacher that can't teach. She would tell us these really funny stories. However, she can't teach. We would review one question there and she would go off topic. And when she gets back on track, half n' hour goes by. Near the end of the course, she would just tell us the answers because we were so behind. Her jokes make you laugh but she says it over and over again which is annoying. She is also a picky grader when she grade our papers. If you have her, just self-study.

Her genuine prejudices show through her humor which takes away from her jokes. She spends more time insulting Stuyvesant in the prep school she works at now than actually teaching. It a wonder why so many people here actually enjoyed her as a teacher. If she was truly fired because someone complained about her jokes, she certainly did not learn from the occasion.

Ms. Quinlan was by far the best teacher that I ever had at Stuyvesant. It's senseless and heartless that she could be fired. I can't fathom how that would be possible. I was a slacker at Stuy and she went out of her way to make me work. I always felt so uncomfortable going to that class but that is because she cared and wouldn't let me settle. I hated her class back then but I look back on it with so much fondness now.

Ahh I had her for MEGA... She was nice sometimes... could be funny... i mean she was hilarious, but yeah, her jokes did get old. I think as a teacher, she was okay... good enough, I guess ... :)

since she left stuy, and started teaching at mega, things went bad. she's always poking fun and embarrasing the stuy kids. she spends most of the time ridiculing stuy and maintains unprofessionalism.

Great teacher. Very nice and humorous. Very interesting. One of the best teachers ever. It is tragic that she could not continue teaching at stuy.

Ms. Quinlan was the best teacher I studied under at Stuy. Grammar Mondays = 800 SAT II Writing. Someone had the sense of humor of a brick, complained, and she had to leave. What BS

Ms. Quinlan was probably the best English teacher in that entire school. I find it tragic for every student at Stuy that she was senselessly fired.

I really don't like her. She's trying to hard to be something she's not. And she shouldn't be talking about other schools/boroughs like that. I hated her.
