Mrs I. is very kind however, she does not know how to teach. Her notes are written beforehand so all we do is copy them. She doesn't explain very well. When you have a question, she works out the problem in her head without showing work, leaving us students clueless on what she just solved. She also works very quickly. She also has daily quizzes out of 5 points which can drop your grade a lot if you score anything less than a 5. Very bad teacher, highly do not recommend.
Ms. I is very scary at first. I liked her class second semester. I HATED her first semester because she was very hard at grading. If you have her for Algebra 2 regular this is pretty much an honors class. She would round my grade I had a 79.4 and was very close and I begged her for weeks and had WHS teachers help me too but she was very tough and didn't round up. Second semester I thought that I didn't want to get into this situation so I worked really hard and talk to her a lot and got an 95.
Ms. I is a very funny teacher, with a personality that fills up the room. She is also very knowledgeable, studying applied math at UC Berkeley. I had her for Math Analysis, and the class was insanely difficult. Not that her explanations were lacking, but the curriculum from the orange book was just really challenging. Sometimes her lectures may get confusing, but when that happens, just visit her during tutorial, and she'll clear things up. I got a 96 both semesters, but it was very stressful.
I don't know why I never asked to changed teachers because I should have. I have always gotten A's and B's in all my classes but for the first time ever I got a D. Shes a nice person but the worst teacher I've ever had. Not only does she make it so hard to stay focused or interested in the lesson, but she doesn't even explain the work well. And her tests ruined me becausd she takes off SO MANY points for small mistakes. I did all my work & studied, yet now I have retake the class. So done tbh..
She's very nice. She tries to make the period fun turning stamps into 'money'. But not legit money. Kind of like monopoly, idk, but every 20 stamps is like 1 or 2 extra credit points. And you can gamble for stamps too! She DOES do notes beforehand, which doesn't help as much as the process of a problem. She has a clear voice, you can practically hear her in the back of the room, even though the room isn't that big. Her homework is reasonable, somewhat, but sometimes gives the wrong problems.
Nice person but terrible teacher. I basically had to teach myself everything in this class because her lectures were useless. She writes all of them beforehand so you don't get to see the problems worked out. Her explanations are very lacking.
I don't know why some people don't like her as a teacher, she's such a good teacher! I had her for Math Analysis regular. She tries to make the class fun by "gambling" extra credit points. It's really easy to earn extra credit points (which is counted in the participation section). She's really nice too! She offers tutoring and can help you during class easily. Also, she makes class fun by having semester parties and stuff. (:
Ms. I is nice in general, but she tends to be biased and favors the loud, rancorous students over the quiet ones. Unless you're a math genius. She also tends to favor boys over girls. Also, during my year with her, she overheard a few things about my personal life and she actually had the nerve to make fun of me in front of the entire class more than once. I thought she'd stop at the first time, but she continued to embarrass me. Also her room is stuffy and she can't speak English.
Be sure to self-study a lot and take good notes. Her teaching isn't too good but she tells you what will be on the tests, so be sure to write down what she says. Overall easy, but a bit of work.
oh my goodness I barely survived. She's really nice but her teaching is.... par. If you get her, you'll understand the lesson, but you won't understand the hwk
Ms. I is nice, and thank god for the excessive extra credit. That was what bumped me up from a 69 to a 71. That being said, she's a BADDD teacher, specially first semester. god dang it, the tears i shed at night... it was difficult. but she's understanding and a very nice person, and she'll do anything to make you get at least a C in her class. 2nd sem is turning out not to be that bed.
really easy but probably most boring class you'll ever be in
Worstest teacher ever, i would radther have geery foreal
shes alright shes nice if you dont do stupid things in her class
shes ok. not that hard, not easy, but she gives bad examples when she tries to compare a math problem to real life
Overall I think she is a very good teacher. She is always willing to answer any questions you may have. Her Math Analysis class was fun! First semester was a killer but second semester is so easy! =]
I think she is a very caring teacher. She is always rushing near the end of class when we go over hw though. She is a teacher who wants to teach you, that's what I like about her.
Class is boring and kinda hard, LOL but it is funny to hear her talk, she says no chew a gum!! lol that was the highlight of the year in her class
