didn't learn anything from her. she just doesn't know how to teach.
She should not be teaching calculus! She's so confused about everything and makes mistakes all the time so you dont know whats going on! Not a bad trig/pre-calc teacher though.
She does not do much teaching because she is always 'down' with something. The notes are where I learn from and kids in the class often correct her work. She does not explain things but is always help
Not as bad as Mr. Ried, but she can't do algebra, and she talks in circles without ever getting to the point. But I could teach myself (the note sheets made enough sense), so it wasn't as bad. She's nice, but a little bit ditzy at times...not as bad as she could be.
At the beginning of the year, I thought that I'd end up hating the calculus AB, because I found it way too easy. Even though I still find it exceptionally easy, I am enjoying class, as I've warmed up to her teaching techniques. Because many of the students aren't that bright, they have trouble understanding what she says and how she describes things. She's very kind and extremely willing to help out. If she says she'll be there early in the morning, she'll be there. She's definitely someone you can trust.
I think she has helped immensly with precalc trig, my first semester teacher's teraching style did not appeal to my learning style. Martina really helped me understand.
She cares, but can get irritated easily... Nothing is ever her fault.
I've always done well in math, but she doesn't explain anything. I have to have my friend who has a different teacher explain everything to me. After my friend explains it, that's when I get it. Martin gets annoyed when you ask questions too. If she hates teaching, then why does she teach!!
had her for trig/precalc and she's one of the nicest teachers i've had; on a few topics she gave us incorrect "shortcuts" and on some didnt really go into detail
despite the fact that i'm having trouble w/ trig/precalc she tries to help me, she is a very nice person but, (opinion) not great as a teacher
She's a good teacher overall... I sometimes get uncomfortable with her language though. She's very nice, however.
I took Honors Math all throughout North. Mrs. Martina is the best Math teacher I have ever had. Rock On BAM!
It wasa hard class, but she's very nice. She helped me to pass, I think she is one of the best teachers! Everyone should have her at least once!
best teacher i ever had at north. I ace'd her pre-calc class, its not hard. go to study groups. Never yells or is mean.
She needs to stop acting like she's emeril and start teaching, BAM!
not smart and even though she is allergic to peanuts she always eats them and has to go to the hospital. Horrible teacher. has too many favorites
