Let me state from the beginning that I hate math and made that very apparent in her class. The tests were fairly easy (partially a carbon copy of the review she hands out before every exam). She is a total sweetheart, but not great at teaching in the classroom setting. If you're confused about a unit, find her before/after school and ask questions. Do her homework; yes it's for completion, but it earns you extra credit before the final.
If you aren't naturally good at math, strongly consider dropping her. She doesn't explain things clearly at ALL. She's such a sweetheart and she truly cares about us and our lives, but she cannot teach well. Even as a typically good math student, I struggled in her class. She's definitely a tough teacher.
So, she's one of those super sweet teachers who actually cares about you, which is great. If you do the reviews and check the answers before the test, you'll probably do fine. If you don't understand something (which happens often because she doesn't explain things well in class) go in and get individual help.
she is the best math teacher in the school! She identified how i learn math best, and worked with me and help bring my grade way back up!
She's probably the worst math teachers I've ever had, and one of the worst teachers I've had in general. HORRIBLE at teaching.
really nice. reviews make it possible for someone who isn't good at math to get an A
I loved her class even though I was only in it for a semester. I think she is a great teacher that knows what she is talking about.
