Worst teacher I ever had. Everyone failed the midterm and he didn't care. By the end of the year half the class transferred to another math class. If you get him transfer.
Great teacher. He explains material that will appear on tests very thoroughly. Relies heavily on textbook, so if you ever fall behind just practice questions from the chapters that will appear on the next exam. Gives homework daily and checks once in a while, but very manageable work load.
He is an enthusiastic teacher, who truly loves his job. Mr. Bell is weird but who isn't? I was initially afraid of having him as a teacher but with time, I really grew to enjoy his class. Great teacher and great person!
Have him for Algebra 1. He treats us like little kids and always gets sidetracked and starts talking about his garage and easy bake oven and how he used to be a loser in High School. Don't you dare use your phone in class because he will lecture you for the rest of class about it. read the textbook and get extra help from a different teacher because he is not helpful at all. So many kids got moved out of his class because hes that bad. if you have him switch out. He's the worst
I didn't do too well in analysis 3, so I was nervous about taking calculus. I ended up getting a 5 on the ap test. My parents were pumped. Mr. bell works really hard to help you learn.
He bakes some dumb good cookiez. Loves to talk about his easy bake oven and the reef fish.
Mr. Bell is a nice guy but he has some deep psychological issues. If you can get around those than his class is fine.
Mr. Bell really tries to keep our class entertained by the lesson which helps me pay attention a lot more than someone just droning on and on.
He is incredibly frustrating and demeaning in class often talking to you as if you were a five year old.
Mr. Bell is a great teacher. He can be a little goofy, but math has never been my best subject and he was always available for extra help. He took the time to make sure I understood everything, and you can really tell he knows what he's talking about. He's also very fair.
He is an awful teacher. He presents a lot of bias towards certain students, and is not fair in his tests. He gives very little time for his long quizzes, and allows only certain students to finish them at other times "at his discretion." I would not recommend him for anyone.
Worst class I took all of my high school career, he stutters whenever he tries to explain anything, usless for extra help, not understanding with student absences or sicknesses, puts stuff on tests he
his turtlenecks are a sure disractiion coupled with sweatpants he sure takes the term casual friday to a new extreme. But to one up casual friday he has a wall-of-fame that sure makes you want to live
He's a really nice guy but he tends to rant about things that have absolutely nothing to do with math. To future students, try to pay attention because his tests are based on past quizzes and in-class
A truly great person, but I would recommend doing the homework for the night in class, as the lectures can be sort of hard to follow, and that way you can ask questions as you do the problems.
I thought Mr. Bell was a very good teacher. He makes sure EVERYONE understands the material, and is willing to go over things multiple times. His tests are fair, and overall I had a great year in math
He's somewhat hard, but he is very helpful if you need it. He doesn't explain stuff well sometimes. However, he means well and once you start getting used to him he isnt so bad.
Mr. Bell is knows his stuff really well. Once you get used to him he can be one of the best teachers you have.
...not the best teacher. But almost has good intentions.
Maybe Mr. Bell isn't the most normal guy, but he really is a good person with a big heart. He can be disorganized(no1 is perfect though!) Overall,Mr. Bell is a caring, sensitive guy
bored to tears by end of every class. hate going to class b/c of this. always sleep in class and frequent bathroom breaks. nice guy but so boring
Nice guy, BAD TEACHER. Ended up confusing more than helping.
I have Mr. Bell for Precalc. He is so cool. Some of the classes are hilarious!
nice guy, and explains things when u have a question, but otherwise boring
he is a nice man. when he explains something, I get it. he will help you if you ask.
Avoid any of his classes at all costs, hes not that difficult but bore you into the nexxt century.
Ahh hes so obnoxious! I hate him more than anything! Worst teacher ever. I can never get through his class without going to the "bathroom" for a break!
unfortunately class with him is like trying to find your way through a hedge maze the size of asia
He can be funny but he does not joke around enough. He is one of the best and clearest speakers at WHS.
I took an SAT course this summer taught by Mr. Bell. He knows his subject. I am confident now, anyway more confident than before.
Math is definitly not my best subject, but Mr. Bell was not bad. He gave me extra help when I asked, not that I did this to much.
If you are smart he is a great teacher, but if you're not very smart you probably won't like him.
Personally i think he is one of the smartest people i've ever held a discussion with and wish he taught my class.
He arbitrarily picks grades from 70 to 90, for no reason. Can't explain stuff without resorting to language that i, raised with computers, am unsure about.
