I have Mr. Rodrigues for SAT prep math and I will just say that the class is very boring. He does nothing to try and make the class more energetic or entertaining/ engaging for the rest of the students. He may know his stuff that he is teaching but he does not know how to deliver it. Also, the grading system that he uses is completely whacked. To get an A in his SAT class, you must get an A on everything. The assignments are based on scores between 0 and 4, 4 being an A which is difficult to do.
Extremely boring and overly difficult class. Loses work and minimum for an a is 95 %
Mr.Rodrigues is a cool knowledgeable teacher but when it comes to test he sets his expectations way to high for the average high school band student. He has no clue what a life is. High school students should not be spending their days on a flute they should be spending their time with friends and such. He needs to understand that band is not life.
He needs to stop dating students. I know of at least two he has dated, one of which was a good friend of mine. As far as his class goes, i was much less than impressed. He may be inelegant and talented but is very infantile in his demeanor. He is a large contributor in my quitting band. Although he came off as a nice guy, i cannot say I would recommend taking his class to a friend. If you take away anything from this, be cautious in trusting him.
Mr. Rodrigues changed over the years i were at baldwin. he got a lot better :D i miss being in all the bandclasses and being a T.A. for piano. jazz band also got a lot better.
the class is a little boring unless you're really into band... mr rodrigues is cool but he needs to toughen up a bit.. he's too much of a pushover.
Appears very confident of the possession of his "extensive" knowledge, however fails miserably in effective communication. Needs to release stubborn energy and conceit in order to improve.
Pocho is a fun teacher and is very devoted to his students. The band program is no longer struggling because of his intruction. good luck T-bone
he doesnt give us clear info. just sits there when he wants to talk. hello, ur the teacher, tell us to shut up. thinks hes cool.
Rodrigues did a great job teaching his first AP Calc class. Out of all the AP teachers, it feels like he prepared us most well for the test. A
he teaches us math good and helps us..he class is good. needs better tutoring skills. needs to lighten up!
