He is passionate about music and it shows in his teaching.
Great teacher. Only gripe is the clear and distinct favoritism towards the most skilled students. Great guy and a lot can be learned from his class
one time we listened to him talk for an entire hour when we were supposed to playing. talks way too much but other than that a really great teacher
Patton is friendly, although disciplines based on what he expects from individuals. Very knowledgeable and skilled. Hard worker. Loves his job and music. Very well rounded. Easy A everytime.
Patton's been a mentor to me since I was a music n00b and has helped me increase my skills drastically. He is serious in practices but he's cooler to talk to than most adults.
You are a great teacher...Continue to rock the school.
Gen. Patton, you didn't let me into Symphonic Band! What's with that? You need to find a way to relate to your students in a better way.
Patton, i'm not so sure about the Symphonic Band audition process. Maybe you should revamp it. Otherwise, you're totally cool.
He is a tough guy to have mad at you, but if you don't like band then don't take the class. Don't even try to bring gum, candy, pop, or homework into his class
Mr. Patton just gets a bad rap from talkative people who don't listen. You do have to take band seriously though, to be in this class. I didn't for awhile.
I like him, he is nice to those who listen in his class, if you like to talk, dont join his class, if you dont want to be in band, dont join cause youll make him mad and waste our time!
If you don't get along with people very well then don't take this class. He challenges you to take music seriously.(Wear sunglasses to the concert if you go. The light that reflects off of his head can blind you if you are not careful;)
