only teacher that truly cared about if his students learned the material or not
great teacher/guy. want to invite him to a class of "73 party. how do i reach him? contact steve hurst or kirby wright
Loves to flaunt his success which only appeals to the affluent and silver-plated (read: spoiled kids that had every given to them). Overall, class has a socio-economic divide that shouldn't exist.
$ management is probably one of the most useful classes i've ever taken. it's actually something you will use in life. he sounds conceited but it's really funny
I can understand how his teaching techniques may work for some students, but personally I learned NOTHING from his class. I had to teach myself the material b/c he was so confusing
if you were ever in pre-calc, he teaches you NOT to lie.. he makes class very interesting with his stories, and he is great at explaining the subject the the people in class.
One of the best math teachers and only one who seems to know how to manage money in this entire world. :)
he's my homeroom teacher an he still doesn kno my name
One of the most useful classes I took. He taught it well 'cause he lived it!
stu ... totally cool, except he didn't give me his car after i got an A+ ...
i was timid about math and the "in-your-face" approach did not work for me
Mr. Gross was the best. He treated you as an equal & was really supportive.
Top ten teachers in punahou, out of my 13 years there
helped me in and out of the classroom. I think of him often
An institution at Punahou! It's been 10 Years and I still miss him! A must have!
Mr. Gross was so uncool that he was cool. He was challenging but entertaining.
