Stay away from her and her equiments. She will lash out at you and make you feel like you should not exist on this planet. Very mean and has the worst attitude. She tries to be nice sometimes, but it does not work.
Ms. Getting is a good person . I do think she's blunt but I don't mind that. She's really a no-nonsense kind of nice, if you know what i mean. I was shocked to see all the poor ratings (some were funny tho) .
once, i went in to the humanities office to put some tape back and it was from a teacher. and she yelled at me b/c i didnt know the right place to put the tape. -_- i dont work in the humanities, office, gimme a break. rude.
I had her for humanities and the class was the worst thing I ever experienced. However, she is actually a very nice person and very lenient. Hard Grader but very intelligent and nice.
A lot of people don't like her but I think she's okay. I was kinda annoyed that she's against extra credit and late hw but w/e she's old you know. at least she's not sore at the world like rizzuto.
I took Sue's class when I was a wee little Harrisite. I learned that Sue is a wonderful person. I may have failed her class, but, the lessons I learned from it were invaluble. :)
I love Mrs. Getting. I think she's really caring about the students and the teachers. Those who say shes bad are just intimidated by her and scared and really stupid most likely flunking out.
I'm a TH graduate, and know that at the core, she's a loyal, thoughtful person. She'll stick up for you. People misperceive her:it is always convenient to blame the administration.
She never covers any material which shows up on a test. It's like she doesn't even try. This woman should not be an educator, and she probably knows it.
She's extremely biased, and tell you that you'll never get anywhere: If you listen to her, you won't.
