Susan Olden-Stahl is a wonderful woman with a huge heart and no clue of how to teach a class of high schoolers. Her tests are impossible and she gives us way too much work. Her lectures make no sense and have nothing to do with the test.

Although she talks a lot and make you take lots of notes, she makes sure you understand the subject and gives you additional information. Great teacher!

She will be retiring soon and it shows. She's old school. She has one track and if you don't fit in you're on your own. She does not believe in accommodations so IEP or not you're screwed. You do he thing or you get out.

Love her, her scarves, and her star wars references. I also love her lectures, but she goes off on a lot of tangents...scratch that, i don't think I can call them tangents because she never seems to have a direction in the first place. Learned a lot!

AP world can be aweful sometimes in workload, and it takes a lot of dedication to really understand the material. That said, her initials are SOS for a reason. she is the life preserver. we are all in the deep end of the pool tied to her. these are some of the things she said to us on the first day. her lectures are amazing, she is friendly and helpful, and she knows her stuff. she may assign more work than she checks, but everything she says is pure gold and she has a good sense of humor

Don't stress over the tests, if you're knowledgeable you'll get an A. To focus on the grade is to miss the point of her teaching. An incredible source of idiosyncratic knowledge, class might have been occasionally boring but was always enlightening. It's inspiring to see SOS unabashedly caught up in her favorite topics, making a fool of herself and not caring at all. An excellent teacher who really should be at least at the community college level

SOS is a great person, but her AP class is too boring for words. She gives alot of reading but you dont really have to do it bcuz she doesnt care. Just pretend to be interested. Nice and funny woman.

Olden-Stahl's AP world class is the most mind expanding 45 minutes of the day if you're lucky enough not to have the Eagan monster. Sweet person with high expectations as far as grading goes. She is lax about deadlines and this motivates you to actually learn things to finish assignments that other teachers would not accept late. You will get a 5 on the AP exam with Olden-Stahl. I did, and I barely got C's and B's on everything, easy xtra credit.

Shes an amazingly sweet person and shes SO smart. she knows way too much about history though. she knows too much to teach. she never talks about material covered in the book. shell talk about everything that happened throughout history except stuff we need to know. but if u study out of the book ull do fine on the tests. basically u can skip and still pass the class. she gives way too much lectures...EVERY day, NOT exagerating

She is the best teacher I've ever had. You learn so much from Mrs. Olden-Stahl. She is so funny and is overall a great teacher. Her tests are not hard if you read the book and study for them. She doen't want to see anyone fail her class and she will do anything to help you pass. She has the most knowledge out of all the Modern World teachers. Switch in if you don't have her!

Has more knowledge than all other Whitman teachers combined. Her lectures are fascinating and her personality is wonderful. When it comes to grading, she is not really on top of things. But who cares? Simply the best.
