Tough teacher, just be nice to her
Very opinionated. Ended discussions with "okay but actually [insert her opinion]." Graded essays not on quality or evidence used to back up points, but whether she agreed with it. Also, nasty personality. Didn't understand how grades work. Lots of busy-work. Treats students with absolutely no respect. Avoid her at all costs it's a terrible class.
Very opinionated. Terrible ideas about essay writing. Super strict: assigned seats, no eating in class. Weights homework WAY too much and gives out a lot of busy work for homework almost every single night.
Knows how to control her class, and very good at handling rude, obnoxious students. Not very clear, especially in tests or directions. Tends to be biased, and very opinionated. Not a fun class. She is nice if she likes you. She liked me.
She's almost always angry. There were a few weeks in a row where she started off every class by ranting at us for 45 minutes about she expected better of us. (Even though most of us were doing pretty well.) She asks for your opinions, but if they aren't like hers she's very dismissive of them, sometimes even hostile. She gives out a lot of pointless essays (analyzing commas) in her Honors class, which would be more tolerable if the classroom environment wasn't so unpleasant.
nothing wrong with being opinionated, but it shouldn't affect your teaching. and with her it does.
Extremely opinionated. Somewhat of a "hippy teacher". Very liberal. Didn't like the way she taught her class, but I didn't hate it either. She was helpful but I felt on my own a lot of the time. She had her favorites and the ones she hated. Quite the feminist.
One of those "Hey, look at me, I'm really liberal, watch me do liberal stuff! Liberal liberal liberal!" people. I consider myself very liberal, but I don't go around pushing it into everyone's face, and neither should she. Apart from my distaste for her personality, she was neither clear nor helpful. Not too hard, but not very easy either. Stay clear of her if you value your sanity.
very positive and encouraging, always willing to help
