Adams was one of the most awesome teachers I've had. If people didn't get caught up in personal differences, I think they'd be able to see that a lot of his views, including those that don't have to do with class material) are very sensible.
He's cleary very intelligent and I have learned A LOT in his class, which, is my favorite class! His seminar class is interesting and enjoyable. Even though he loves to hate anything that is popular and feels the need to be different...I still love his class and he's hilarious.
Mr.Adams imposing nature tests your conviction. Don't back down on what you believe. He's fun to argue with. His class can get a bit dull at times,so asks lots of questions in order to keep it lively
He is truly an amazing Philosophy teacher. He changed my life!
Some people know a little about a lot of things, TJ Adams knows a lot about a lot of things which comes handy in teaching a social sciences class. He has very strong convictions. or -? You decide.
Able to speak at length about broad number of topics. Lives his work, although doesn't seem enthused to talk about it with chldren. Often mislabled as arrogant for challenging students to defend ideas
Adams is a smart man, but doesnt have what it takes to be anything more than a highschool teacher. He thinks he knows everything, but doesnt. In addition he is full of himself. Maybe he should DJing.
Knows his stuff, but intense arrogance a bit distracting. He only calls on a few students, and demeans others who give responses.
In my experience, Mr. Adams has always shown multiple sides of issues. My class often asks ourselves "is he a republican or democrat?" i think thats great ina teacher. he's amazin
I loved Mr Adams. I don't think he knew I existed though. I got good grades, but I had a hard time talking because he was really intimidating.
good guy, however, he often misrepresents his personal ideas and opinions as facts.
He is a huge fake intellectual but is unaware and unable to consider multiple sides of an issue. He thinks he understands everything but is actually void of real understanding.
Good guy. Awesome taste in movies. How he found the time to know about EVERYTHING, no one will ever know.
Cool guy, but still counldn't help falling asleep in philosophy everyday. He needs to lecture less and actually listen to what his students have to say.
Awesome guy! A lot of fun, and still manages to teach. I especially liked the way philosphic ideas were related to movies.
horribly mean tennis coach- made us run around school 7 times for trash the other team left behind
Perhaps one of the best teachers i've ever had...AP comp gov't was tough but he caught my attention.
Pretty cool, Philosophy is a bore, unless he does his hilarious impresssions!
Conversations in class are between only a select few of students. Definitly picks favorites.
Adams know the differences between history and History; he doesn't teach the standard "person x was born on date y and did BLANK" crud. He tries to teach the grand schemes. My one complaint is that, while he tries to be unbiased in his teaching
TJ rocks! he's not the easiest teacher but he's brilliant and he makes really great points. Plus he likes good music!
Mr. Adams has the amazing capability of only being able to catch the attention of a select few students. He should just stick with showing movies.
one cool cat. my favorite teacher. too bad someone stole his wheels. i love his class. hes great.
I think Mr. Adams is a great teacher and his class is really fun and interesting at the same time. He awards people for effort and grades fairly.
I had him freshman year and I have him now. He's extremely smart, there doesn't seem to be anything that he doesn't know about, he's just an all around cool guy
I'm a newbie to Adams' classes...but they've made my senior year the best year in my high school career. Definitely one of the best teachers I've ever had.
Mr. Adams... what can you say about him besides..... Cool guy
Mr Adams...what can you say...If I could pick someone to be your mentor, teacher and confidant. it would be this cat-He is all things good in this unclean world
Tommy Johny is my favorite teacher, you'll love him.
His classes are intellectual and very interesting. They're fun though, and he's a neat guy.
He played Lightning Bolt, The Clash, and other stuff in class. Extraordinary.
