She is a women who knows her stuff... but her exams are SO FRICKIN hard and if you didn't read the textbook, you are basically screwed... probably a F to a C and even with reading the textbook, you get a B or A-. So READ THE TEXTBOOK and she gets distracted easily... very nice person but poor teacher if you don't go after school for help

She was such a nice person and was really funny, but also very easily distracted. I struggled on her tests and was constantly confused about what we were doing in class. A lot of things show up on her tests that we had never even gone over in class. If you can self teach yourself the entire class you will do fine. Managed to disappear during all the tests too...

tests/quizzes are hell because she always has a substitute on quiz/test day who doesnt know anything about science. her course is HARD and her curriculum is very unorganized. out of all the bio classes at CHS ours is the most behind. two chapters behind in fact. so if you have her, beware...

She is just really disorganized and gave a substitute a quiz to which the substitute could not answer any questions about. She rambles a lot about stuff that you don't think is important but really is, so take notes on everything she says. Her tests are difficult, but passable as long as you study. And you REALLY need to study, because she'll give you those easy questions, but then you have to apply some of your knowledge to different situations. If you don't know the entire concept, that's bad.

Really nice and funny. WICKED hard tests. Take very detailed notes. has long rambling stories, but smart and knows what shes talking about. could be a better lesson planner/teacher.

Nice to most, but horrible teacher. She doesnt know how to teach. She gets off topic and gives tests with stuff that she never covered, and tests are the only grades on powerschool.

you cant use her lectures in class for her tests. all you can really do to study is reread the chapters before the test, cause there is a lot of material that she has on the tests that isnt taught in class. she gets off topic a lot, but she makes for a fun class environment, just stay on her good side. shes a pretty good teacher, just dont get distracted in class

She's very nice, but hardly teaches anything. She just says what to read in the book and expects you to understand it.

For people even mildly intelligent, Sterba's apparent lack of teaching skills (and credibility on the subject of forensics) is only overshadowed by her lack of direction on projects, disorganization, and testing on materials having never been taught. Expect to hear a lot about the military and police forces, because that's all she knows.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE STERBA! She is the best teacher and everyone that says she is too hard and too mean needs to grow up and introduce themselves to the REAL world! She's amazing!
