She's nice (if you're on her good side, or have had her as a teacher before) but don't expect to get through her class without some sort of outside help. Nearly my entire class had tutors or some sort of extra help by the end of the year because she just doesn't explain things. Everything is a rush and she expects you to understand everything after seeing one sample problem.
She is a nice woman but an awful teacher. She rushes everything and is very bad at explaining things. She tries to make class fun with daily puzzles and you get extra credit stamps to help with your grade. She also did this notebook thing which made class a little fun. If you do your homework every day it will help. I mostly did bad on tests/quizzes but always did my homework and overall i got a c.
Literally the worst teacher I have ever seen in my entire life. I hope she gets fired and all that. Her quizzes and tests are the worst things in this world, I will pay million dollars if I have to have her fired, prolly the most useless teacher I have ever seen in my life so far. No one in my class likes her, that the point. Why can't she get firedddddddddddddddddddddddd.
can confidently say was not one of my more liked classes
2/10 would not have again. Ever. Nope. I find it funny because everyone rating this thing above a 4 star rating was in level 2. Try level 1 and you'll see what it is really like.
Her midterm was so hard! Level two is a breeze though, as long as you pay attention. She has a warm up at the beginning of each class too which is pretty cool, the monday warm ups are not so fun though but thats mostly because they are CAPT warm up...
My worst and hated class ever. She explains things very vaguely and seems like she expects us to know how we got things wrong and stuff. Her tests and quizzes are hard.
level 2 is extremely easy. she paces everything out and explains very well. if you dont fall asleep in class you wont miss a thing and you're sure to ace her quizzes and tests.
i liked her because she liked me. but honestly i barely passed the midterm/final with a C-. which is not ok. she doesnt know how to explain.
Honetly, mrs.schulman is a tough teacher but at least she stays afterschool. You gotta give her that at the very least.
I don't know what you people are talking about. Ms. Shulman is one of the greatest math teacher i have ever had. She is always there for extra help and she gives review sessions after school the day before a test. She is extremely clear in her teaching methods and goes step by step. She is really nice and can tell that she really cares. If you have a bad grade in the class its your fault, go for extra help!
I know that she probably thinks that it's generous of her giving Wizard of Oz bonus questions, but I think it gives some kids an unfair advantage over those who are too scared over the flying monkeys to watch it. She's not the best teacher I've had, but I've most definitely had worse.
i liked her i thought the class was very easy and i loved the raffles free prizes plus 30 minutes of warmups mean half a class yet it could of been easy because i took algebra in 8th and then again in 9th idk
Shes not exactly the best teacher, I have her for Lv. 1 Algebra, and shes tough. I struggled to get a B- in her class and I'm usually an A+ student in Math. She thinks if one person in the class gets it we all do...Guess what I don't half the time......
if i didnt have a tutor outside of school i would be failing her class. she answers all of your questions with "just because".
After a quater of freshman year with her, I have a 40 average. I try to ask for help, but i just dont understand what she is teaching.
Although her classes consist of a half hour of warmups, 25 minutes of notes, and 5 minutes telling us that we have a quiz the next day, for CHS math, shes good.
She thinks that notes and homework are all a student needs. She is sadly mistaken. Even in level two, I struggled to pass.
she's awesome and very fair. most people just still think we're in dodd and chose to not work in her class.
