She really knows her stuff but if she thinks youre not putting in work to her class, she can be a real nightmare. Tests are fine in music theory if you know the material and homework is a good portion of the grade. If you make a conscious and consistent effort to learn the material you should have an enjoyable class! If not, not the most pleasant experience. Furthermore, I think she expects a little bit too much out of CP music theory, sometimes comparing us to AP students.
One of the wisest people I know. She has made my experience at the prep one to remember!
She's a musical library, one of the wisest people I know. The only people who hate her are the ones who never learn to be adults.
Don't be intimidated by her. Mrs. Neglia comes off as being really hard, which she is because she can be demanding, but she is a fun teacher to have in class. She's the best for peer leadership, and she really knows what she's talking about. I do warn you, don't give her a hard time because she will give you a hard time in return. Overall, she's fair and fun. Get to know her and you'll enjoy her classes.
While intimidating, she is a very nice teacher once you get to know her more.
Learn to love her and you'll have the best four years of your life.
