By far one of the best teachers I've ever had. He gave me the confidence I needed to succeed on the AP Test. He was super knowledgeable and explained things that easily made sense. He was also very helpful and had a great sense of humor that made his class very enjoyable. Also an awesome debate coach!
Without a doubt, Mr. Hering was the most influential teacher throughout high school. He taught me skills that will last a lifetime. 100% recommend. You do the work, you'll get an A.
Living history book
Mr. Hering has to be one of my favorite teachers of all time. I enjoy the fact that he makes the students accountable. He is an expert at playing devil's advocate which makes it fun to debate in class.
He's hilarious and adds life to American history.
(Nicholas T) Todd is a great guy, he is very clear and was the reason i felt good about the Ap exam, he managed to prepare me for a test on new curriculum, this shows how good of a teacher he is.
Mr. Hering is a great teacher. He incorporates humor with his teaching which is awesome! Sometimes he is blunt/sarcastic with things that he says, but for the most part, he is a great teacher!
Probably my favorite teacher I've ever had. Thanks to him, I aced the AP test. He'll be a great head coach for speech, I'm sure.
Great sense of humor. He made learning fun and prepared students for AP test well.
Arguably one of the best teachers I ever had. He's great at explaining things.
He was very fun/funny and explained things well. If you did the reading and kept up in class you did well on the AP test at the end of the year.
He really knows his history. Always finds time to make teaching "boring history" into a fun and exciting lesson by incorporating funny anecdotes to very serious ideas.
Mr. Hering is one of the best teachers at Eastview and I'd venture a guess to say he's the best history teacher in Minnesota. He prepares you so well for the AP test you won't even know what to do.
AMAZING GUY. I love Hering. He is by far the best History teacher at the school, exept for maybe MAYBE Beach. They are both amazing.
I didn't think I would enjoy APUSH, but loved it because Hering was such an enigmatic teacher, and he loved what he was doing. Also, amusing golfing stories were a definite plus.
Hering, for an AP teacher, made me look forward to coming to his class everyday, despite the utter monotony of his course of choice. However, he enjoyed what he did and so did I!!!
I didn't like him at the beginning because of that stupid Columbus Day assignment. But he got a lot cooler each and every day. Go Herring!!!
Fun guy, knows what he's talking about. A little arrogant but I liked him.
Constantly tripping or hitting his head for your enjoyment. suprisingly good at baseball despite pointdexter appearance
