oh no- finally you have to earn your grade. yes you have to work, it's an AP. one of the few teachers at WHS who expects college level work for a college level course
While I appreciate having a teacher who knows their material, he is definitely a name grader. I had a major depressive episode during the second semester of his class (due to preexisting medical conditions not due to the class) and once he saw that his homework wasn't my number one priority I started getting my work graded extra hard. I got Cs on work that would have gotten any other student As.
Cool guy, hard teacher. His notes are all over the place, but he will clarify and help you if you ask. Tests are hard, but have a nice curve. Although everyone complains about it, it's a pretty interesting class overall. 2/3 hours of reading/notes over the weekend, but barely any homework during the week. He's actually a pretty funny guy and even if you hate the class, you can always be amused by his incredibly preppy clothes hahah.
