Mr. Scott is a super chill old dude who cares about chemistry and about his students. He's kinda funny and sometimes pronounces names wrong but he teaches very well and makes chemistry really simple to understand. He's really open to meet outside of class and if you decide to take the sat 2 he can help you if you want.
mr scott is so sweet and nice and really wants every student to succeed. his tests are super easy as long as you study a little bit, and pretty fair grader with labs. he is pretty strict and won't be lenient about stuff like latenesses or not doing homework, but he always tries to make himself available to help you and is super nice. definitely the best teacher for 10th grade chem
Mr. Scott was an amazing teacher. I love him, and he's amazing. You are lucky if you get him!
he's super nice but his tests are uber specific about random examples that we reviewed maybe once in class. also he's weirdly harsh about lab grades -- he gave me a C+ once because he couldn't read my handwriting. i study a lot for his tests but can't seem to do better than an A-. maybe it's my own problem, but i feel like he relies so much on the textbook that it gets a little ridiculous. he's obviously smart but he just takes lessons straight from the textbook.
Mr. Scott is so knowledgable and he cares so much about how well you do. He's one of my favorite teachers. My only complaint is that he teaches us like we're much younger and for a 10th grade chem class that starts to get a little bit annoying. However, he definitely wants us to do well so he moves at a pace that is understandable for everyone in the class, not just the people that already know things. He's absolutely adorable and super sweet -- if you get him, you're lucky!
I'm not sure how I feel about Mr. Scott. Though his lectures were ridiculously boring, his class was really easy and I barely had to put any effort in to get an A. However, he was surprisingly harsh about science fair grades. He also falsely accused a lot of people of plagiarism which was rude and unnecessary. He definitely wasn't my favorite teacher, but I've had far worse.
SWEETEST MAN IN THE WORLD. He knows what he's talking about all the time and his lessons are really simply structured. The class is pretty easy but sometimes can be boring. He really wants you to do well and will help as much as he can. Sometimes he's a bit awkward but that's just because he's Mr. Scott.
My favorite eighth grader teacher! Mr. Scott always makes sure that his students understand the material and will reexplain his lesson is necessary. It is impossible for anyone who puts even a teensy bit of effort into the class to receive below a B. He is extremely nice and polite, and his "back when I was a kid in the mountains of Virginia" stories always make me smile.
This man is slowly approaching senility... but his tests are painfully easy
He's really sweet, and although he goes slow through topics, he is very clear with definitions and procedures. He's also really nice.
Mr Scott is a really nice teacher and knows the topics well. He's always willing to help individual students or a group with anything we don't understand. He provides great test review sheets.
Super clear, super nice, super punctual, super teaching, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
I'll have to say Mr. Scott DOES treat us as if we were...somewhat..younger. But seriously, he's so sweet inside and he'll always offer you help if you need it. In my opinion, he's HILARIOUS, but doesn't know it. Sometimes people start giggling in his class and he just looks at us in a confused way.
Mr. Scott is great. And I'm not saying that because I get good grades in his class (because I get bad grades). He's so kind and he really is a kid at heart. He loves teaching and science and it's great to see. He also wants to help people do well-- he will meet with you after or before school if he thinks there's a chance you'll need help on a test, which is really nice of him. He gives great review sheets too.
A note for all of Scott's 10th grade students who want to take AP chem: getting an A+ in the class does not at all mean you are prepared to take AP chem. Great teacher otherwise, though.
he is so sweet! his class goes by reallly slowly, but you can tell he really means it when he teaches. he treats us like 1st graders but its okay cause he's got good intentions
VERY easy teacher. his tests are straightforward and doesn't ask you about anything that he only mentioned once in class. mostly his classes are boring but he does really cool stuff time to time.
He's an awesome teacher, and even though he's a clean-freak, at least that's better than being a slob. Pretty easy to get good grades, as long as you pay attention in class.
Yeah, he's a little weird, but he's nice. Classes are really boring, but easy. Labs are cool.
You might only appreciate him after you have him as a teacher, but he's so in love with science and just wants to impart that same love onto everyone. He's a little weird only because he's kind of like a kid in an old' guy's body, but his intentions are pure, really. I also love how he remembers everyone's names years later.
yeah gotta agree that he loves his work... w/ a weird kinda admirable passion... yeah he thinks we're all licked (Pb) as kids but he's still pretty nice
hes such a kid at heart, absolutely loves chemistry, he got so incredibly excited about putting marshmallows in a vacuum pump! and the class is way easy. dont even study for tests
how does he possibly not have the lowest rating in the school? he teaches you like your in first grade and i get not bored but furious with his class
there is no way mr scott can have the same smiley face rating as ms basker. no way. mr scott was awesome: i loved chem and i learned a lot. i miss his accent
i love mr scott!!! and today he gave us doughnuts!!!! yum.
obviously a really nice guy, and in terms of getting the info across perfectly good as a teacher, but rather boring in class. and sometimes rather scary. and he DOES check girls out and is really nice to…ahem…attractive females.
contrary to popular belief, mr scott does not really check girls out. when i had him, i didn't like him at first, but now i do. hes really a nice guy.
I LOVE MR SCOTT!! he's a REALLY good teacher and i learned soooo much in his class!!! and contrary to what EVERYONE thinks, he DOENST check girls out.
i love mr.scott. nobody else does, but i seriously think he is like the coolest teacher ever. no joke.
