I can say with perfect confidence that I left this class with the same comprehension of chemistry I had going in: none whatsoever. However, I am now exceedingly capable in arcane fields ranging from alligator rehabilitation (poor guy plummeted from desks far more than is advisable) to window smashing (he has a bucket of glass panes and a hammer in the back, open to all) to piranha catching (not a joke). Come to chemistry with Surrarer - you'll learn nothing, but, my, will your horizons expand.
Mr. Surrarrer is such a great teacher! His teaching style is very much directed for students who really want to learn chemistry and he would make an excellent AP Chem teacher, provided that the students were motivated. If you're one of those students who doesn't want to be there, you probably wont learn much
Mr. Surrarrer was one of my favorite teachers at Ignatius. I effortlessly learned the material through his unique teaching style. He was extremely helpful, and even went out of his way to help me prepare for the SAT Chemistry test. He will not push you if you are not motivated, but is a great resource to students who put in the effort.
This guy is literally insane. But a good teacher nonetheless.
i hate this man...im so sorry if u have him...he is a bad teacher and he is not nice. the only good thing about his class is constantly playing with fire and the snake.
my name is mike. he called me frank, then dave, then maurice all within five seconds
C'mon, he's not that bad, you just have to think a little and work a little. Plus, you blow stuff up.
He covers tons of material. You have to pay attention. Very fair.
very smart guy when it comes to chemistry. although i feel disturbed at his knowledge of explosives
Mr.Surrarrer was great.....Made classes fun and very helpful. I laughed out loud in every class
Knows a great deal about what he is teaching, but often seems unable to impart that knowledge to the class. Most of what my class learned was self-taught.
