Tony Nappi was the first teacher who changed my life. He taught me in 7th and 8th grades at St. Patrick's (and directed me in a production of Guys and Dolls years later). I was a smart, socially-awkward kid who liked to read (i.e., a nerd) and he was the first person who indicated to me, just by his persona, that being smart and well-read could be cool. He was a great math teacher; still better at literature and religion. I got a doctorate and teach today largely because of him. Eternal thanks!
By FAR, the best teacher at St. Anthony's. Let me rephrase that, since St. Anthony's has sucky teachers: a darn good teacher in general. His Shakes class was college-level. NAPPI!
Best teacher ever! I had him for Seq I and II honors & Shakespeare. He made math and English more than just numbers and words. He really loved teaching.
Great teacher NO QUESTIONS very funny and explains things really well hes the best math teacher ever
Mr. Nappi was probably the only teacher i ever liked
Undoubtedly the best teacher I ever had - 2 years in a row for Algebra & Geometry. Mr. Nappi's influence is still with me to this day (almost 20 years later!)
I graduated in 1989-Mr. Nappi was the best teacher i have EVER had. You inspired me! I loved the "thank yous" on top of tests. You drew the most round circles
Mr. Nappi was the best math teacher this school had... come back!
Mr. Nappi was one of my favorite teachers. I'm upset that my little sister won't have him.
Mr. Nappi was the most amazing math teacher n he also taught amazing life lessons!!
Best math teacher ever - I graduated a long time ago - but I remember the phrase - the geometry boat is leaving harbor, better get on...
Mr Nappi is the coolest math teacher ever! I will miss him so much when he retires :(. I still cant figure out the forst joke though :)
I graduated in 1994 and still hold Mr. Nappi as my most highly regarded teacher ever. He taught me about Shakespeare, math, and life. Thank you. Be well!
Greatest Teacher/Smartest man alive. Willing to learn from students, teacher of math and english (brilliance) Forever in my heart Mr. Nappi, God Bless You -CD
Best Wishes on your retirement !! Good health to you !!
I'm a 1990 graduate. He was tough but a funny, good teacher. Pay attention, work, & you'll do well.
