I have her for accel chem and she is a great teacher. This was probably one of my hardest classes this year but she did a pretty good job at explaining concepts. She can be pretty intimidating at times, but you have to look past that. She's always willing to help and she straight up tells everyone that she's here to challenge them.

To the person below me, you are half correct in my opinion. She explains really well and you end up working really hard in the class. She can be really mean at times but you can zone her out. You can't blame the fact that she is angry on students all the time because she often admits that she gets angry due to climate change. She doesn't give much time on quizzes (often like 20 mins). Not strict, but kinda mean at times. She can be really funny though! Easier for regular chem.

(continued from below post. Stupid 500 character limit, I'm getting a new post) ng. She is the reason I came to this site to review her, and get rid of any negative notion you have of her. She helps students so much, and you can tell she wants us to excel. If students think her mean due to it, then that is their fault; Ms. Galla knows about us and she believes in us. What frustrates her is when we don't do what she knows we can. She believes in us, and that is all one can ask for from a teacher.

Accel Chem is a subject that gives people brain damage no matter who teaches it. However, Ms. Galla is AMAZING. She said in the beginning of the year that she would challenge us, and no doubt about it, she did. She believes in us, and she tries her hardest to help us reach our potential. Some see her as mean because of this, but she is NOT. She has helped me so much and given me so much confidence. I know from personal stories just how much she helped students, in an out of school. Shes an amazing teacher, love her personality, may seem strict, but its just so you respect her, and to take her seriously. She is one of my favorite teachers, she makes everything so clear until you KNOW the material! LOVE herrrrr!
