Someone said she has favorites. This is totally not true. I kind of thought that because so many people were always around her. When I finally asked her for a second chance on a test I messed up, I became one of those people always talking to her. She respected my privacy, and no one ever knew she helped me out, worked with Miss Cantrel for me and got me on the right track. I graduated two years ago with honors mainly because of how she helped me. People who don't do well in there are just lazy.
I took Honors English I and HATED it. I was great and English and loved it until this woman. She's nice, don't get me wrong, but she is an absolutely awful teacher. Handed out worksheets and expected us to already know. The only reason I passed with a C was because I wrote excellent essays on the books we read.
Mrs. Rains rarely actually taught; she just gave us assignments and expected us to learn. She also has too many 'favorites."
Mrs. Raines is one of my all time favorite teachers! She really will help people if they ask and WANT to do well.
One of my favorite teachers as a freshman. This lady really helped me get through high-school. She really cares about her students and wants them to succeed.
Mrs. Rains is like a mother to me. She cares That much about her students. I have found solace in her company and if it had not been for her, I would not be attending Dartmouth in the Fall. Love you!
Mrs. Rains is awesome. She WANTS you to ask questions. Sometimes I spend most of class at her desk. She never gets annoyed with me. I've learned so much! Take her class!
Rains is the Best Teacher EVER! She's very conscientious and compassionate. If you want to get accepted to an IvY League, she is the one to help you. She doesn't tolerate stupidity
woah..10/20/05 bitter much? Mrs. Rains is awesome. She helps anyone who asks.
Ms. Rains is a sweetheart. It's rare that you get a teacher that you can actually have an intelliectual conversation with. She's very open-minded and caring.
Love you mama Rains. You are the best teacher. Keep it up.
