Despite me being an excellent student who was always prepared, she hated me and she made me know that in class. Even going beyond just the class, I was told she was the reason I was only one of two people rejected from participating in a foreign exchange program the next year. What a way to "help" a student. I have never had a teacher that had such a negative impact and I still remember it today. Middle school is such a tough age. A teacher shouldn't make it worse, but she managed to do so.
