I had physio with Caplinger and it wasn't a hard class however it was very very boring. Caplinger is so annoying if you whisper to your friend once she'll tell you to take the convo outside. It's just a straight up depressing classroom. I wish another teacher taught this subject because it's one of my favorites and it's so interesting she just ruins it. She's pretty mean too. Don't be absent a lot in her class bc she hates that and will check every time to see what you were doing. Nosy!
i like the way she teaches. you come in, take notes, leave. and every couple weeks you get a test.
She is a mean, nasty woman. I don't doubt she knows her subject, but that does not make her a good teacher. She is unclear in her explanations and when you ask for clarification she scolds you for not paying attention. She managed to ruin one of my favorite subjects for me (biology/life science). I wanted to take physiology as well but when I found out she was the only one teaching it I decided against it. She should have been forced into retirement a long time ago.
If you are lazy she will not like you and she will fail you, she will find ways of failing you that you cannot do anything about, and her binder checks.....IMPOSSIBLE her noted are like 14 pages per day and u write so fast your hand will cramp in the first ten minutes
Mrs. Caplinger, one of the very few good teachers at Hoover, is informative with a concise teaching schedule and great notes. Though she does have her quirks like locking the door on late students, taking cellphones during tests, and that slightly intolerable binder checking, she is clear, straight-to-the-point, and friendly. She provides a lot of good information and her voice is easy to understand and listen to. Her tests are on material that has been covered. If you're lazy, you will fail.
Absolutely horrible teacher. Her notes are very vague and unhelpful, her class is uneventful, monotonous, and dull. Her tests are insanely difficult and go way more in-depth than she ever does. I also found it funny how when administrators came into her class, she randomly became some helpful goddess that made sure everyone understood everything. The second they left she went back to her horrible self. If you see her on your schedule, change it immediately.
Shes very strict and mean. she will confiscate any of your belongings. her tests are so hard as if there for ap bio students and dont ever bother to cheat on her tests. she can be very nice if you're passing all her tests and her class only. if you're lazy or cant learn change your class if you have her!!! again her tests are crazy
does not give enough time for tests due to the fact it takes about like 15 min for us to start. i had to write so fast it felt as if my hand would fall off
Caplinger is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She is very good teacher. She makes sure you understand the lesson. She is very organized which is probably why I loved her class so much.
she's a great teacher and I know that I will remember most of the material she has taught me the past year. She knows how to teach, unlike a lot of teachers and she makes sure you understand
i looove this teacher! her class is not hard at all. all you need is to take good notes and listen to her interesting lectures!
if you want to be on her absolutely good side, just shut up when you come to class and do whatever is asked. you can just get an A from there if you do your studying as well. ppl sometimes just don't know how to shut up......
You'll learn a lot if you copy/read the notes and skim through the book. Other than that, she's not very helpful and your hand will get cramped after about 10 minutes.
Best class, expresses everythin......man u don't gotta read da book. Ms. Caplinger ur class really helped thanks.
A lot of people think she's hard but she gives you everything you need to get good grades! If people would participate in class a little more they'd have an easier time.
she is making a very interesting subject boring... she should have new styles of teaching
thanks for passing me. but stop it with the notes. it's a little too much at times.
