she expects A LOT out of her students. like too much. she also goes thru notes too quickly. definitely see her for help during/after class if you need to. overall she's a pretty decent teacher, just a
Mrs. Lavoice is a nice lady but AP physics was pretty much useless. I know she teaches a lot better in her regular Physics class, so I'd suggest take regular physics then just take the AP test.
This class is easy if you do your hw every night...she's fine, you just need to go in to her to get help
you CAN get an A without the solutions manual! just pay attention and take notes in class. It'll make the class less boring. And you'll actually learn. lavoice is a really good teacher.
physics isnt that hard. she IS JUST NOT good at teaching. she reads the author's solutions from the book during lectures & the avg passing score on the AP is 1 or 2. MD needs a new AP physics teacher!
Whatever you do, and I say this from experience, DO NOT TAKE AP PHYSICS WITHOUT HAVING TAKEN REGULAR.
I like Mrs. LaVoice a lot, and I think she's a fine teacher. The problem is, for Physics, you need an above-average teacher. She's pretty good at physics, but she's not extraordinary at teaching.
unforunately i had the opportunity to be in this class and i wonder why ...why god did i take physics?
By and Large count is 21 times since November 25th...i simply can't deal
worst teacher ever, she makes me NOT want to succeed in the field of physics
