Okay teacher little hard but whatever
Self study the entire chapter and do each and every problem in the book. Her test questions are the same as the problems in the book (only the numbers are changed). Once I realized this my test average went from around 80% to 95%. If you are struggling with problems ask her for help after school. No one is there and she is willing to give you a detailed explanation for the problems. Unless your already good at math be prepared to spend a lot of time studying (3 hours per day for me).
Mrs.Franzita's algebra 2/trig class is the hardest of all the 2/trig teachers. She doesn't really give extra credit. Her homework is pretty easy ad she doesn't check until the day of the tests. Basically, the only thing that matters in her class is how you do on tests. STUDY FOR THE TESTS GODDAMMIT! Her tests are actually really hard and most people who get As on them have to study a lot. She will not give individual test corrections and she will not remake tests if you fail so be warned.
she's good for alg2/trig but bad for calc ab; you're better off taking calc bc. don't ask her for rec letters she will not remember you
Ms. Frazita is a very helpful AND approachable!
People say stuff like "she gives too much homework and i'm stuck with 100 problems to do the night before the test" ?!?! Ms. Frazita assigns a few reasonably challenging problems each night and does not check it until the day of the test...so whose fault is it if you have 100 problems to do in one night?!
While I agree Ms. Frazita's tests are rather difficult and math has always been my weakest subject, I think she's a great teacher.
Calc AB is terrible. She does this thing called a flipped classroom, where you watch a video of her teaching the lesson at home and do homework in class; it doesn't work for me, and I'm doing pretty badly in her class. Her exams and quizzes are pretty challenging for what we learn. She is a nice person and has a friendly personality; she's just not good as a teacher. If you have her, whether for Alg 2/Trig or Calc AB, be prepared to get a tutor or some kind of help; you will not find it in her.
Ms. Frazita is an amazingly approachabl teacher who tries very hard to get her class to understand the subject material. She'd ask everyone if they had questions about the homework problems, and if there weren't enough volunteers to explain them she'd always do the remaining problems herself. If someone gave a confusing explanation, she'd step in and explain it all over again. She doesn't run an easy AP Calc AB class, but she's definitely a great teacher.
2/Trig: Really nice but teaching style could be a bit better. She started making us watch videos AT HOME to learn the concepts and we just did what we were supposed to for homework at school. Common Core is also really annoying but she answers questions pretty well and tried to make her tests easier to compensate for the difficulty. She's a good teacher but just study hard (by yourself because the videos aren't very helpful) and know everything or it won't be a good experience.
I had her for Alg2/Trig. She's really nice and she teaches very well. Tests are pretty hard ( time crunch) but she prepares you well for it. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE DIRECTIONS ON THE TEST; you have to be specific or she marks off major points. The good thing is that if she feels that the class isn't ready, she postpones the test! How nice is that?! She can be pretty funny, too. I loved her class. If you get help during tutorial, get there ASAP, as all the Calc students swarm around her later.
Very helpful and devoted to her students. The effort one puts into the class is reflected in your grade. She is fair in considering other factors when it comes to grading and etc.
Ms. Frazita's class is not easy, but she does a good job of teaching the material clearly. Her lectures are helpful, so pay attention! You will need to study for the tests to do well, though. Her class requires that you put in some effort, but if you have questions she answers them thoroughly.
She is very nice and helpful. She teaches the material very well so don't sleep through her lectures or else you'll be screwed for the test. She's great!!!
Appears nice and helpful until you actually need something from her. She weights the tests VERY harshly and is reluctant to make exceptions for students who were sick or otherwise absent. She wouldn't budge on a make up test even when I was down with the flu for an entire week and ruined my sophomore GPA.
Best Math teacher there is, Easier than Khachooni, but more thoguht provoking, Just as nice as Romander, but a bit more challenging. Overall very good.
The best math teacher period. I had her last year for alg2/trig. she helped me a bunch and i was able to skip pre-calc. i agree she's not the easiest, but it's all for the better in the end
Very good teacher, knows her stuff. She's not the easiest (Romander's a lot easier), and her final is tricky if you don't study much. She is always willing to help you if you have problems, which is probably why her room is always full during tutorial.
One of the best math teachers I've ever had. She always tries to help you and is a reasonable grader.
ms. frazee was a really good math teacher. she's not the easiest, but she's a really good teacher and she definitely know what she's talking about.
really good math teacher. probably the best you can get for alg2/trig. not too easy, not too hard, just enough challenge, plus she's very good at getting the point across.
Awesome lady, very helpful, incredible quick and smart.
What a great teacher. Truly loves helping kids out. Absolutely one of the best teachers that I have seen in LHS.
ms frazee is really helpful IF you ask her about things but when it comes to her lectures they are kind of quick! I like her but sometimes it's just too boring for me to listen to her talking about the same looking powerpoints everyday. she should add some variety to her lessons!
her grading system is hard, but she's so far the best math teacher i've had. if you don't get something ask her for help - she explains really well. even though her lectures are boring, they help. she doesnt even check the homework everyday, but make sure you do it because she will check it.
yes it's true. grading is 80% tests and 20% hw. it's not so bad as long as you ASK QUESTIONS if you don't get it. she's really helpful and explains very well. the lectures can get boring on block days. participate a lot!! u can get a lot of extra points.she doesn't give much time to practice (like other teachers) for the final so u have to study ahead of time.
Ms. Frazee explains things very well; however, lectures can be slightly boring, especially if you have her 1st period. Still, she's nice and a good teacher. Grading is 80% tests, which means you really have to know the material, but as long as you do your homework when it's assigned (although homework is generally cumulatively due on the day of the test) and ask for help on things you don't get, you'll be fine. ^^
She knows math extremely well, but kind of assumes the rest of us do too. Her lectures are hard to understand, but the tests and the homework are fine. If you ask her for help, she'll explain things very clearly.
Her grading system is hard, but she's really nice and a good teacher.
ok, she IS a HARD teacher if you're not a math genius, and just runs through her lectures in 5 minutes and lets you do homework the rest of the period, but shes super nice
one of the hardest math teachers, but very friendly and helpful
uhh easy what can I say she is like uber easy. 80% test. 20% hw just copy the question and answer(in the back) and turn that in. She will give you like 75% in hw for it. For the test know how to do the first couple of problems in each section. got an A
great teacher, shes very very helpful and really nice, best math teacher ive had in 6 years and that doesnt put my mathness at the best, but shes good at explaining how things work. very fair and can let you slide on things like late homework
Seniors only had a day to prepare for her very difficult final while everyone else had over a week. I don't think a single one got better than a D on the test, and grades fell. Luckily, we were already were accepted to our colleges so it didn't matter!
Best math teacher I've ever had. Tests are pretty hard, but if you study enough, you'll do fine.
80% tests, her class is relatively easy if you listen through all her lectures, which is hard. she is really helpful, but only if you ask, if you dont ask for help, your kinda screwed
If you're a poor test taker, prepare for a struggle in class with the 80% weight on tests. Frazee is always willing to help, but you'll have to ask HER questions, she won't really check up on you unless you want her to.
Great teacher. You'll really learn the material and do well on SAT II math.
Her grading is really weird and unfair. She goes way to fast when she explains things and isn't a good teacher.
very cool teacher, lots of it is fake though. I like her anyway cuz it seems like she likes me. I do well in her class. So what's the problem??
she's boring, she's not helpful cause she's boring, but she's clear if you can stay awake, hard cause 80% test weight
Frazee is a good teacher, however can be slightly tough if you don't do very well in math. She requires the best from her students, but so does life.
very very patient and totally calm...never seen her yell at anybody.
REALLY nice and understanding if you're distressed or anything, she's leaniant sometimes, but her grading system hits ya hard if you don't take tests very well
Dumb grading system, if you are bad at taking tests, there is no hope for you in that class, so drop, ok to talk to but not very clear when explaining, hard
Ms. Frazee is like so freaking nice, she is a great person to talk to you know. all you have to do is finish your work in her class and you will get a goodgrade
Know her stuff! She did teach! not like some teacher just go over homework. Not easy class if you don't spend time but very fair with grade.
shes ok most of the time...altho her grading system is a bit too hard...can be mean in a subtle way...><
Very helpful teacher. Learned so much and it was very fun. Everyday I looked forward to her class. Very patient.
She obviously knows her material and makes sure you understand what will be covered on the tests. However, she may want to teach faster.
she's a good teacher...but bit harsh and boring sometimes...should try to make the class alittle funner..and stop being too harsh on grading proofs
her expectations are freakin -___-. 75% of ur grade is tests and everything else crammedin 25%. i dropped her class asap.
Obviously knows her material - she's very helpful and her classes are quite well-taught. Sometimes one feels belittled though.
Had her for geo and calc ab. really nice and helpful and fun
she is boring and some days she is really grumpy but she is a good teacher
her class is a drag, but dats wat i like bout it, cuz i get ta do otha hw. pretty bad when shez teaching da class as a whole, but very helpful, when individual.
Ms.Frazee is very knowledgeable about her field and she also excels as a person. I did poorly in her class becasue i slacked off all year, but when the time came for the AP exams, she would stay after school to help me review. THANK YOU :P
teaches well....patient when helpin u....but a bit borin
She is a good person but not the best teacher. She is willing to help if you ask
One of the most patient and helpful teacher one will ever have
she's the only math teacher in highschool that makes trig as easy as 123
she is a pretty good teacher but is too by the book and boring
If i could insult her back when she insults me it would be cool..but i cant.
